There's a reason this pharmacy has EARNED such a low rating. Understaffed and overloaded, they sorely need to either expand or frankly lose enough business that they can keep up. Their level of service suffers because they're just juggling too many customers.

The worst customer service in town. I had to wait for an hour and 15 minutes sitting in the waiting room for my prescription. They would just look at me and walk on by. No excuse for that kind of service

Had a prescription sent in at around 10:30 AM at noon I called in about it they said it needed to get entered into the system. I take about an hour and a half. Went in at 5:45 PM. The lady behind the counter, was obviously in a bad mood from the gate. Tried telling me my prescription wasn’t there. I informed her how I already verify it was there over five hours ago. All the sudden miraculously appeared. Then she said it would be another hour and a half before she even got it entered into the system. Asked her if she knew how long it would be before it’s ready since it’s been sitting there all day. She proceeded to get rude and arrogant yelling that 500 other prescriptions were sitting there also. Well oh well, there is nothing you can say, or do to make me ever shot with Fred Meyer or Kroger again. Which is pretty sad because this isn’t my first instance with Fred Meyer pharmacy and we usually shop there because the quality of the food seems better. I’ll pay less and take less quality instead of being treated like a second citizen at their store !

For those posting bad reviews, ask for pharmacist Ayano. If she's there, she is the absolute best and will go above and beyond for you. I've had a hard time finding enough meds to fill my scripts all over town. She will order them for you if you come in a couple days early and will even make sure to call your provider if there is a problem. She is the most kind, helpful and intelligent pharmacist I have ever come across. I'm a cancer patient and it's very important my meds are filled in time. Something I've learned from being a cancer patient is you got to advocate for yourself. Call them a 48 hrs to 1 week in advance and they will order your meds and have them ready by the time you need them. They are a very busy pharmacy.

It's worse than Walgreens. They will not remind you about any refills. Their automated system is wrong most of the time it has told me my prescriptions are ready and I come and have to wait an hour with two toddlers. The people are nice but they run out of medicines and tell you last minute. The only reason I gave three stars is because the staff is kind and they have a program to get a great discounted medicine.

Pharmacy's are stupid, everyone knows it. There's always poor communication between the physicians and pharmacy techs, for some reason the online systems are constantly failing, and lines are ridiculously long.But the person behind the counter is what determines your overall experience. Joseph is the kindest, most patient, helpful individual I've ever come across at a pharmacy. This 5 star review is for him, not the pharmacy. My prescription has never been filled correctly or ready when it should be

I was released yesterday from the hospital at 3:30PM (I was admitted). I called when the pharmacy opened today to see where my prescriptions were that the hospital called in the day prior. Oxygen people came over immediately to set me up with two machines. Not sure why Rx takes over a day now to get Rx? When I called male technician was very short and kept saying "You got it" while I was talking. I've been a customer for many, many years now. I do not understand why it now takes 24 hours or more to fill a Rx? I will look for a new pharmacy provider as this was very important I start these meds last night.

I usually wait a couple of hours between when a doctor calls in the prescription and when I go in, and they still never have my prescriptions prepared. Today, in addition to this consistent behavior, the man stated “it’s not ready yet, and we close for lunch in 6 minutes.” I politely asked if he knew about how long it would take (so I wouldn’t waste my time again). And he unhelpfully remarked “Not before 1:30 because it won’t be done in 6 minutes.” A polite “I’m not sure” or even “maybe another couple of hours” would have been fine.I’m extremely unimpressed, totally done with this pharmacy.

They always can have my script ready in 2 hours, and if not, they do it right when I get there. They stay late for you, and I've had good experiences.

It’s time to rethink filing your prescriptions here. My wife was discharged from the hospital today. The doctor called in a prescription for us to pick up 1.5 hours before we got there. Waited in line just to find out they were out of that medication and was told our only option was to call other pharmacies in town to see who had it, then call the physician at the hospital so he could call it in again for us. Major pain! Would have been so much easier if Fred Meyer let us know ahead of time so we could make arrangements before we left the hospital.Big thank you to Walgreens in Chubbuck for helping us work through this and rushing this prescription.

I really hate leaving bad reviews. However, I am hoping to help others avoid my mistake. Rarely does this pharmacy have the prescriptions my daughter needs filled on time. We are usually down to her last dose of medication and the tech and pharmacists are very non chalant about “caring” they pass the blame and usually are not the most helpful. Customer service is really terrible. Avoid going here if possible. Wait times are long, you’ll be lucky if your daughters seizure medications are ready to be refilled when you need them. This review probably falls on ears that won’t care and continue to our patients health in Jeopardy if you can go somewhere else… DO

I am a loyal shopper at this store and most of the employees are kind and helpful, however, there is one particular cashier named Ashley that I will always avoid if possible. She mostly works at the self-checkout which I chose most of the time. She is never friendly and if I need help in any way she always seems annoyed and does not seem at all happy or nice to me or anyone else. People like Ashley make my shopping experience at Fred Meyer very unpleasant. Please address this issue so myself and other shoppers don't experience this unprofessional behavior.
