Superior customer service, even by phone BEFORE any sale is made. I called about a plumbing question and "Jason" the employee who answered the phone gave nothing short of OUTSTANDING and commendable customer service!! He looked up all possible options for the issues i asked about AND he looked up and quoted the actual prices for ALL options for purchase in the store! This level of customer service is so very valuable because it saved me extra trips and I knew exactly what would work for the situation I was dealing with. 🙃 thank you so much!!

Usually had a good experience one time I needed picks at closing time i thought it was an hour later than what it was but I told the guy exactly what I needed he let me in came in grabbed it checked out with the other cashier was out of there before everyone was done checking out but I really like how helpful they are.

The staff is very helpful and they have a good variety of items at very affordable prices. It's nice to be able to look up online if items are in stock locally before I go in. I recommend signing up for their coupons, especially if you go here often. They are pretty good about returns of something doesn't work properly, but most of the time we are very happy with or purchases.

After years of being a customer at Harbor Freight, I recently had the worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. I bought a tap and die set, only to find that it was missing a piece. After finishing the job, I returned to Harbor Freight to address the issue, but the cashier was very difficult. He refused to help me and demanded that I produce a receipt, insisting that he had emailed it to me (even though the store has always been able to look up my receipt). I have never received and emailed receipt. Despite my repeated requests, he refused to check the system and kept entering my phone number incorrectly.
After inspecting the set, he told me it was used. I explained that I was simply trying to get the issue resolved and asked, "Why are you treating me like I'm some kind of asshole?" In response, he accused me of being nasty and again refused to assist me. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Harbor Freight.
Frustrated, I called corporate and got the receipt issue sorted out (they had spelled my email address wrong). This whole situation could have been avoided, and I’ve generally had great service at Harbor Freight in the past. I’m disappointed by this experience.
