I will NEVER conduct any business through Key Bank and advise nobody else. My company has been hurt tremendously because of them, and there is not reassurance of my funds. I don't know if they are even going to release what I currently have there now.My business account was hacked on 9/14. I immediately, within an hour, reported the activity. It was for a significant amount at that. No questions were asked by the bank besides, this wasn't you? The transaction occurred in Missouri, and I said we have never done any business out of state. I even called the company where the transaction occurred and got information for Key Bank. Every time I would call the bank to check the status of the fraud dispute, they would tell me there was no record of it. We would report the transaction again, and the branch in Blackfoot and Pocatello would apologize and say okay, you should have your funds available to you within 48 hours. Nothing would come, and we are still waiting. So, I started calling the fraud number specific to the Key Bank fraud department. Even at times, that department couldn't find my dispute, and I would have to give them my confirmation number. Whoever hacked our account was so deep into our information that Key Bank closed our account and opened a new one for our business. Which was great until we didn't get debit cards for over seven days, and today, when we went to get money to conduct business, we were told that they couldn't do business with us anymore because we are too much of a risk because we got hacked. I do not understand how that is our fault. Isn't that why we disputed a transaction that wasn't ours for your fraud department to "investigate" how that could have happened? They advised us that it takes 90 days for an investigation. They can't give us any update on the investigation yet decided to close our account because we are at risk. So why did they open us another account? Why was this not communicated to us? They said a letter would be sent out. Not that I want to continue to do business with them, but they wouldn't even give us what we had in the account today to close and go elsewhere. So now we have no access to our current funds, but it sounds like we won't be getting back what we disputed either. I understand things happen, but this wasn't in our control either. Businesses' with the highest form of security still get hacked, but it's still not right for any company to treat us the way Key Bank has treated us. They have never even followed up with us for anything. Asked us any questions...nothing. It takes us to go into the branch to conduct business and get cut off with no answers or specifications, and we are told we need to call the fraud department for your disputed funds and on December 14 we will be issued a letter letting us know the outcome of that dispute. I am just going to assumer we wont see that money again. Its gut wrenching. This is how my family gets by and I am not happy at all. I've been really patient and yet these people sleep at night knowing that small business suffer because of poor processes and lack of protection. We trusted our business here and it was a big mistake.

Back in April 2023 I had requested several years of back statements. I know the they charge for them however, KeyBank wanted me to pay the the ridiculous amount of $444.00 along with $20.00 overdraft fee. Never was it's started that I would have been charged that about. What? Wait just one minute. How many trees did I have to kill for this? When I looked into my keybank mobile account I was overdrawn and my account was frozen. I was unable to purchase items that was detrimental to my health and well-being. Shame on you KeyBank!! I do not drive and depend on public transportation to take me where I need to go. I need to get to the bank ASAP!The branch manager has told to his boss where she decided to waive the fee of $466.00. Also was promised the I will be getting my statements sent to me free of charge. Nice! Or so I thought. Not only did I not receive them through the United States Postal Service which the manager promised. I also called the 800 number 3 times stating that I need to go to my local post office to look for them there. I was told to go there each time. In the 3 years that I've lived at my same address for 3 years never having a problem with my P/O with delivery of my mail. Ever! This started in April 2023, now it's November 2023.7 months and still no statements as promised by KeyBank. No one ever thought to call me to see if I had received it, knowing that I heard reached out to complain.I was with you for 7 years and this is how you treat me?Shame on you KeyBank! I noticed a $40 overdraft fee and was able to get a refund because it was too late. Too late? What difference would that make sense I don't have nor ever requested to have overdraft fee on my bank account. Keybank, of I was mailed my waived statements as promised I more than sure I would have noticed my $40 facetious charge in the first place.Last week when I went in to close my account I requested a cashier's check, my teller gave me cash. I looked at her and said, I guess I I'll have to get the cash, there teller says sorry. Oops. She handed me the cash , I had to ask for an envelope to put my money in it.I feel that had KeyBank lived too their promises I would still be there happy as a lamb as I was before.

Did a home loan through these guys as at the time had better rates but it's been nothing but headaches they didn't pay the insurance company and got it sent to collections which went against me then promised me it was the insurance company's fault and how they love to blame the bank well low and behold after switching insurance company's and doing as I was told by their bank more issues with the insurance now they are trying to charge me for a Break of coverage even after there was ive called 3 times to have it fixed got told it would be handled amd I wouldn't have to pay and then weeks later got a letter again saying they are charging me have also had problems trying to just pay the damn mortgage had the desk teller over charge me then a separate time had them put the payment in the wrong account just endless mistakes anytime. Never have been told sorry even after catching them in lies I would never suggest to anyone to go here unprofessional and honestly feels as no one knows what's going on in their bank.

Opened up a checking account because keybank was offering a $200 bonus if I deposited $500 within the first 60 days. I made a deposit of $375 on Wednesday and another of $125 on Friday…$500 right! Keybank told me I didn’t qualify for the bonus because the $500 deposit wasn’t made all at once?! Closed my account on the spot! Avoid this bank if you value your time and money.

My account is going through fraud and on hold. Cannot access my money at all. And it’s all because of their own mistake. So a mistake they caused now I’m going through a process for the hold that’s has taken a few days already still no information on how long this will take and remind you with no way of accessing my money and this should’ve never happened in the first place!!!!! It was their mistake and now I can’t pay bills, can’t access money, can’t get diapers, can’t get gas for work. Nothing! I’m livid.

Working with Key Bank is the most frustrating experience. They are behind the times, want you to set an appointment to do anything other than give them your money, and leave their employees with no tools. Actively moving my accounts. Big Banks have no customer service and make managing your accounts so difficult. There is also not as much flexibly in programs and less potential for growth. Go somewhere else.

Hands down the worst bank I've ever dealt with in any area. I've been calling this branch since last week. Literally every like 3 times a day for information on something. They have not answered the phone one time. Always have to leave a voicemail and never get a call back. Then you call the customer service number. No one can get through to customer service unless you have an account. Finally found a way to get to customer service. Agent answered and hung up the call within 10 seconds.

2 incidents in 2 weeks where I can't access my money. Last week needed funds verified which apparently takes a week and a half. Now depositing a check is "suspicious activity" and my card is locked

I tried to open an online account to get the promotional $300. I had so much trouble (their end) I went in to tell them what was going on. The employee wanted me to open the a/c with him and said I wouldn’t get the money after spending a long time with him. He also shamed me because of a financial decision from years ago (that he didn’t understand it was a good decision) on the useless financial questionnaire I thought I had to do. BUT the manager overheard me talking and she came over to give her “authorization “ that I could get the money at a later date. Needless to say I never got the money now I’m stuck with accounts at a bank who’s online presence is a joke and employees give conflicting information. Even worse than Wells Fargo! My husband banks here is the only reason I still have accounts. When I need help I don’t get it sorted out because they don’t give the right information. Then when I sold my house and had a large deposit to make they said again, if I opened a certain account I would get money. Do they just flat out lie or they really are clueless to the rules? Makes you wonder. And the responses to the one star reviews aren’t helpful. Going to a website to complain and then what? I’d hazard a guess NOTHING. Who is going to do that? They need to take accountability and train their people properly.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced with a bank. Every time I deal with them not just a one time issue. My I.D. expired on a Saturday and went in the following Monday and they told me they couldn't cash my check because of that. Literally 2 days after it expired and on a weekend. When I have had an account there for a while and they know me. Blackfoot branch is hands down 10x's better. And so much more friendly and show value to customers.

Hands down the best bank I have ever been to. Depositing checks is so simple. The people there know me by name. It's so simple to withdraw things. They are patient. I love it at this bank and regret nothing.

This is the worst bank ever! The charge fee after fee even if you owe less than $4 Don't ever bank with them. You can open a checking account with no fees, but then they charge?!....FEES AND FEES FOR NOT PAYING YOUR FEES. FEES FOR CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT! This bank is all about FEES! I will warn everyone I know. Then they refuse to talk to you until you pay FEES!
