Nathan, at the Sandpoint AT&T store is the best REP I’ve dealt with in my 10 year experience in Sandpoint. Top marks in my book. His technical knowledge and communication skills are excellent. If he’s not the manager, he should be.

Do not use this store. They are nice but don’t care. This store scammed us out of almost $200 for not taking responsibility for their mistakes.
On May 8th we walked in and upgraded 2 of 3 lines from iPhone 8 Plus and purchased 2 iPhone 16 pluses.
Shortly afterwards we realized that after hours an additional line and phone was added to our account. We talked tirelessly with AT&T customer service who let us know that the local store had to make this right. I went to them twice (almost 1 hr drive each way since they can’t and won’t help over the phone) and they told us only AT&T main office could help. They verified line was still active and did help but still not sure how it happened and no remorse for mistake (I was able to contact AT&T at store and then they verified line cancelled but still insisted that if AT&T looked into it and couldn’t refund money that not their issue).
They finally told me DO NOT come back to ask for help with this again if they tell you store is at fault. They have no way of getting our money returned
Retention and Loyalty at AT&T did all they could but because it was not done by their employees explained that the store is an authorized retailer and not part of AT&T.
The store is owned by individuals not AT&T.
AT&T store owners are responsible for the mistakes their employees make and things like this do happen. They suggested we continue to work with them.
They (Evan’s name on sale according to AT&T loyalty and retention) added an extra line attached to a pixel phone and we were charged activation fees and the highest plan price the first month and most of next month. Totaling $195 before line was finally cancelled.
To put it like AT&T representive explained.
It would be like Walmart charging you for 3 cans of soup when you only got 2 and claiming they can’t give you your money back you have to try and get it from Campbells soup company.
They get credit for sales of new lines so the line that was added after hours since we left the store right at closing helped bump their sales.
So we have been taken advantage of with no apologies or even any admission of wrongdoing just DON’T COME BACK to store if I want to talk about this.

Isaac Reis was so professional and friendly. While he transferred phones for me he took the time to check my account and found $100 savings for my plumbing company account. This monthly savings is a huge deal! Thanks Isaac for being awesome!

I turned my phone in for store credit. They gave it to a random person. We lost hundreds of dollars because of them

CAUTIONARY TALE FOR ANYONE WHO PLANS ON VISITING THIS STORE: I switched from t-mobile to AT&T back in January when I moved to idaho. I can say without a doubt it was the worst decision
I've made since coming here. When I switched my plan I also received a "free" trade-in deal. They suggested I keep my old phone for any two factor authentication. So I did what they suggested and kept my old phone until I was able to make the drive back to this store in person. I gave them my old phone and was told I didn't need to do anything else and that the trade was completed. After this I noticed that my bill was higher then expected and called at&t customer support for the next couple months and finally they told me I needed to go back to the store in person to figure out what happened. Apparently at some point the store lost my trade-in and just started charging me for a brand new phone. I expressed my issue with the manager at the store and he offered to have his security/loss prevention team look at camera footage to confirm the trade-in was finished. We narrowed it down to 4 days that I may have been there (this was a few months after I traded in the phone at this point) and I was told it would take a couple of weeks. Now it has been two months since I spoke with them in person to request they search to footage and nothing has come out of it. So now I'm stuck paying for a new phone because someone in the store either lost my old phone or stole it. I was pointedly told in my last conversation with them that there was nothing they could do to quicken the pace for the security team reviewing the camera footage. The employee in the store actually suggested that i file a complaint with the better business bureau. I'm at the point where I'm seriously considering filing a complaint and shutting down my at&t account. If something changes I'll update this review but as of now I'd caution anyone planning to make a trade-in at this store.
UPDATE: After seeing the response to this review I have attempted to reach out to the email address they provided. I responded to them on the same day they replied to my review. It's now been over a week and I haven't heard anything back. I even sent two follow-up emails. I genuinely hope people see this review before visiting this store and it helps people avoid a similar situation.

The workers who work the desk are stealing $ using their position (a phone guy) from customers and ATnT. Call and report any theft (they will try and get you to use cash) atnt will give you a discount because they know and don’t care. They exploit the community, why would you not?

The people are great. The company not so much. Employees have no authority to make decisions and kept being referred to the phone number to call. I wouldn’t have been in the store if the phone calls and endless people who couldn’t help had fixed the issue. Shame on you AT&T for losing sight of the people who have made you so large, that you are your own worst enemy.

Didn't fix my problem. Sim card good he said. But didn't fix freezing issues or non connection issues.
