Thank you so much. You saved the day when another local mover left us high and dry regarding the moving of our safes. You were responsive since we were in a time crunch. We can't thank you enough knowing that one of the safes was very heavy. You did a great job.

We are extremely grateful to have Sandpoint Movers. They helped our family and my Brother's family at least 4 times over the past 9 years. We are looking forward to their help again this Spring to complete our move. Jeff and his team are very effective. They give what the customer wants : move your home belongings with care, respect and personal service, when promised.

From the first contact with Jackie scheduling our move, to the last piece of furniture being placed by Jeff was quality and professional service. Would highly recommend this moving company and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

I first contacted Sandpoint Movers on February 9, 2022 regarding our moving needs. Our move was planned for April although, at the time, no precise date had been set. Subsequently, Jeff and Jackie came to our home to survey our moving needs and to give us a price. During that visit, I went over, in detail, everything that was to be moved with Jeff. This list included a secretary that was given to my parents, by my great grandmother, on their wedding day. I was very clear that this piece had enormous sentimental value and needed whatever TLC was required to move it without any damage. We agreed that our move would take place on April 8, 2022 and would involve Sandpoint Movers coming to our Troy, MT home, loading their truck with our belongings and transporting them to Spokane and transferring these same belongings on to an ABF trailer for transport to NY. The stated cost for this service was $2000.00. We remained in near constant contact via text and phone. On April 8 at 10:37 AM MT (9:37 AM PT) I recieved a text from Jackie that stated "So after crunching the number, I realized I must not have put in any time for going to and from your place or going to Spokane and back. I'm sorry, I'm trying to keep everything as transparent as possible, but that's probably an additional 5 to 6 hundred more. I realize not the best time to throw this at you on the day of the move. The guy's are heading out now, so see you soon." After 2 months of planning the price changed from an estimated $2000.00 to $2555.25 (Including the cost of 4 flush mount D rings and bolts to secure my motorcycle which were never used, refunded or given to me). Draw your own conclusions as to whether this was an honest mistake or a planned 22% gouging.Last Thursday, 4/28/22, we met Ideal Move LTD (on time, on budget and great people to work with both on site and in the office) at our storage site where ABF had dropped off the trailer the day before. The list of minor damage (a couch foot split, paint rubbed off the motorcycle etc.) is lengthy and I won't go into it here. What I will mention is the secretary. The right front foot was against the side of the trailer without a blanket to help protect it. Needless to say, the finish is gone. The top spindle has an approximately 1/4" deep gouge and is broken at the base. Other areas of this piece had the finish rubbed off as well. I could have chalked up all of the other damage to "stuff happens" but the secretary was an item unto itself and was damaged out of negligence, stupidity or malice. The reason is irrelevant.I would not use these folks to move a doghouse.

I'm actually surprised at all the good reviews here. Earlier this year we moved to Colorado from Idaho. We had a ton going on so had to leave it to Sandpoint Movers to move our belongings (ALL of them) and our camper van to us in Southern Colorado. Since we had obligations there, Jackie assured us we would not be needed at our house when they loaded up the truck. Bad mistake. When Jeff arrived, he told us several items were left at the house in Idaho. Jeff took $1000 off of our bill to cover these items. However, on the way down, the camper van, which was being towed, was somehow damaged. Jeff told us that we should try to file with our insurance for the camper van because "it was just one of those things". He offered to "maybe" split the repair costs with us. Later that day, we realized that more of our items were missing than they had told us about and had a friend go to our house to get them. When our friend got there, nothing was there. Sandpoint Movers had taken our stuff to their shop and we had to arrange for our friend meet them to pick things up... (Jackie had called and left us a message that they had some things, but only after our friend went to the house and found nothing there.) I'm trying to keep this brief, but to this day they haven't acknowledged that they HAVE some of the items that were left, including a gifted silk aspen tree with a replacement value of $700. The damages to the van were $2000. We sent a certified letter with the estimate, which they signed for. We sent another certified letter with the invoice for completed repairs, which went unclaimed. $1000 doesn't cover the loss that we had with this company. And now there is no response from them. I would not recommend them at all. We trusted you guys and you let us down.

Jackie and Jeff, the owners, were life savers! When my elderly mother moved from CA to Sandpoint, the people who were supposed to help her unload cancelled. Since I am in Seattle, I could not be there and so was desperately trying to find movers at the last minute. Jackie agreed to help and personally showed up with Jeff to do the job. We are so appreciative and will definitely use them in the future with any moving need.

Outstanding!I met Jeff and his crew on a moving job this morning. I had just arrived in town and needed a storage unit by last week and a way to get my stuff into it by yesterday. So I figured these guys were in the business and would know. A few minutes later, after asking Jeff's recommendations on who to call, I had a storage unit despite the fact that "there are none available," and I had hired them to move my things there while I was elsewhere on urgent business. Before I asked if they could work me into their schedule, I looked at their website at sandpointmovers.com. When I read the "about" tab, I knew I was talking to the right people.I entrusted them with some very valuable possessions and the access code to my storage unit. When they were done, we met while they were on the way to another job so I could pay them. Everything was done on a handshake. These guys are straight shooters and I would trust them with anything.Let's face it: while "moving" may be exciting, actually moving physical items is a tough work. Sandpoint Movers does the tough work right.Highly recommended!

Fantastic, considerate of the home, polite and truly conscientious of detail. I hired Sandpoint Movers in the past. This time again they were on time and brought the right crew for a challenging removal of HEAVY exercise equipment for a second floor. if you need moving professionals that will exceed your expectations, Sandpoint Movers is number one! Thanks again guys!

We have moved multiple times with Sandpoint Movers and they are on time, quick, safe & efficient movers. Moving sucks, Sandpoint Movers makes it WAY EASIER! Too bad they aren't "Sandpoint Movers and then unpack everything and put it away in the perfect spot". They might do that if you asked... but the moving part is excellent for sure!
