My package has been sitting in the locked package delivery box for days because the USPS carrier didn't put the key in my mailbox (hopefully they didn't put it in someone else's), I visited the Ponderay USPS office & a representative said they would contact the carrier & call me back- they never did. Sandpoint AND Ponderay don't answer their phones. Tragic.

I have been going here for about 6 years and have always had friendly service. Only complaints I have are out of their hands, but they still suggest things to try to make me happy. They even went out of their way to make sure we had our package in time for the holiday. That is great customer service.

Always have had great service, even with large Xmas boxes! It's a small post office and usually are closed for lunch from 1pm-2pm but check online because hours are posted.

This is the Post Office that I use for about 2 years now. It is a nice and clean office. I like the main blonde dude who is usually working the front desk. Otherwise, there isn't that much special about it and it seems like the price per PO Box has been going up also.. it is quite expensive to rent a small post office box here! So I'm not sure if that is just standard or it depends on where it is you one at.. because I heard Clark fork is cheaper it's only 20 miles apart.. but I can see why the sentiment is much smaller in Clark Fork.

All of the staff has always been amazing except the new postmaster!!! He’s so rude! He spent 5 whole minutes chewing me out for something that I didn’t even know was wrong with the shipping label I made all in front of a line of 3 people behind me. He also told me that if I didn’t pay enough for my label that the people receiving the package would be charged, which is completely wrong and he should know that. I have family who work for the post office and said that that USED to be how it was done, but now that has changed. Pretty sure he was just trying to guilt me about it though. He also told me how he was going to be “concerned for his job” if shipping prices were as cheap as I had printed my labels for?! This guy is an overpaid j*** and should really be reviewed by his superiors. But, like I said, everyone else there has always been nothing but nice and helpful!!

We have enjoyed years of amazing service from this substation and its staff. We have a postal box at this location. Unfortunately, all things change and the old postmaster retired. The new lady in charge here is rude, lazy and unhelpful. Far from going out of her way to accommodate customers, she will blatantly lie about her opportunity to provide services if it comes to a matter of effort on her part.

I love going to this Post Office. The staff is friendly gives you more information about how to ship packages. The staff is outstanding, they never make you feel like you are interrupting their time. I go there instead of the one that is closer to me just because of the great customer service.

My package got put in a parcel locker, but there was no key in my mailbox. I went to the office and they said they'd have their carrier make sure one was in today. I go to check mail and still no key, all other mail but no key.
