I had Big Mountain Accounting do my Federal & state taxes. I am very pleased with the service they provided. We simply called and setup a appointment, showed up with our receipts, and half hour later we were out of there.

The state of Idaho revoked their licenses in 2022 they did not pay any of their fees, their bond was revoked and the Idaho Secretary of State canceled their corporation in 2022. So it seems that they have been operating illegally since then. They've been up to some shady stuff all the documentation is available online with the secretary of state and other court records.

I went here with a pretty bad situation that I needed fixed. I had gone to another tax expert a month or so before going here, but I felt like they weren't being straight with me so I didn't follow up. Then I went here, and I felt like I was doing business with actual human beings. They got me squared up real nicely, I wish I could leave them six stars. If you prefer honest people who know what they're doing to do your taxes, these are the people.

I have to say this is my first time going to this tax preparation company. I was very very pleased with Julie, who treated me with respect and explained everything so well. It’s a family run business and I love that. I would recommend this family run business to anyone who wants to get their taxes done. She did my taxes the same day and filed it on time even though I was last minute.

My taxes for 2022 were going to be more difficult than normal so I found these guys online. They were very helpful and made what I thought would take a while a very short and sweet process!

We have gone here two years in a row and will continue to do so, very quick, efficient, and effortless. They always go above and beyond to get you the back the most they can! They are a family ran business and not part of some big corporation so you are never just another customer to them. They make tax season easy and enjoyable!

BEWARE!!! Everything seems great until you receive a bill from the State explaining that two years of your returns are incorrect and you owe them over $550, NOW!You try to contact Big Mountain numerous times by phone but they never return your calls? Letters are ignored as well. They seemed so friendly, like family. They fooled me too.Big Mountain will complete your tax return for a fair price but if they make any errors, the liability is yours and yours alone. Big Mountain (known as BM from this point) does not stand behind their work even though they’re supposed to be professionals but BM will leave you hanging out to dry and totally ignore any and all responsibility for their screw-up’s! All taxes and penalties due are yours to pay in full. Be smart, find a tax professional because BM is anything butt!

I decided to try Big Mountain Accounting for tax prep last year. They were friendly and did a great job. Based on last year's experience I decided to use them again this year for my tax prep. If you're in Post Falls and need assistance with tax prep, you should give them a call.
