Sent a message via online about getting my car in last night; Brandon called me 8am and said bring it in and we'll knock it out. Arrived and told me the process as far as test then service. Waited in the waiting area ( magazines for you to read and a comfy chair) after the initial test was done, gave me a break down (no pun intended) and pricing. Felt no pressure from him and the other gentleman. I was in and out in a few short hours and a reasonable price. New shop and friendly staff who know what they're doing. Brandon saw my disabled veteran plates and also gave me a discount without me even asking. Great group of guys. I'll be back!

They are good at communicating and documenting what they think is wrong and what they can do to solve it. Prices seem competitive. Overall I think they do a better than average job! They send you pictures of things they fix or need fixing and even give you a print out of the same. They wouldn’t do this if they were screwing you over as you could get a second opinion very easily with those documents and find out if they’re lying or not.

Very impressed with these guys at the nice new location! I appreciate how honest they were about what my car needed and DIDNT needed.Also enjoyed the little treat I came back to :)

I took my car to one of the other shops that I go to. I had a clunky little noise and they came up with a laundry list of stuff. So I thought I should take it to another place to see if I get the same list so I have heard ove Golden Rule from the radio and how they can save money and sure did they came with the same laundry list and saved me over 500 bucks for the same thing thank you and the place was clean and nice but it was the new one in Post Falls so it should be. But thanks again

I recently had to have a cv axle serviced. Having heard commercials and then reading reviews of Golden Rule Brake, I decided to give their new Post Falls location a try. Mike and Cosby were the guys there that took care of me. Everything was clearly and openly detailed up front — no hidden surprises, and I went ahead and had a new cv axle installed. With an appt time, they got me in and out within 2 hrs wait time. All went well. Based on my first impressions and experience with them, I’d feel comfortable recommending others in need to give them a try.

I went to get my brakes done the day before Thanskgiving and after my brake job was complete,their was an electrical problem with my car. I wasnt having one before I brought it in. They left it sitting in their parking lot at idle knowing their was an electrical short. The battery died and they jumped it, and it died again. So I got a new battery from ORiely auto parts since my old battery was still under,warranty .Unfortunatley I do not know what they did with my car when they had it in their posession to possibly cause the problem. But if I was having any electrical issues I would of had that fixed before I got my brakes done. The fact that they did not let me know about the problem after doing the brake job I find not professsional or honest. I cant prove anything while it was in their care, but the miscommunication, and the thought that I could of been going down the road and have it die on me traffic is a little unsettling. And lastly their was other work that still needed to be done on my car like the bushings which they said could wait until the spring, but they recommended to not put good tires on the car, because it would cause them to wear out faster, and just a month before that I put a brand new set of all season tires on my car. They should of suggested to get the work done then. I unfortunatley will never do business with Golden Rule in the future because of the way I was treated. The Owner did call me, he was polite, but did not really resolve any of the problems I had in doing business with him. and I ended up spending another 1300 dollars to get the electrical fixed

Waste of time! I literally have a beater with a heater. Something went wrong something broke and brake fluid everywhere!! I just wanted to know exactly where it was leaking from! Guy was very rude! He started off by saying he was already at 1500 and I said I can’t afford that, so he said well I’m not going to waste my time then, cuz it’ll be upwards to 3k. It’s a 2000 tundra, it’s been ran through the mud, person I bought it from run it miles highway it’s all rusted. It’s been breaking here and there. I just wanted to get a quote to start working on things. I can’t afford that all at once!! And he said he wasn’t wasting his time doing that if I couldn’t afford.Just needed to know what was wrong and wasn’t even willing to tell me!!! I’m not asking for charity, but the least they couldn’t done was be nice, and still do a quote of what was absolutely necessary! Instead of stating I’m not wasting my time, your keys will be ready!
