I have had this storage facility for 3 years now and I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY AND URGE ANYONE who is struggling to make ends meet to consider obtaining a unit here. For 2 units (16x20 & 10x10) I only pay $140/month. Most storage units will not work with you on late fees and if you don't pay within 2 months they lock you out of your facility and sell everything that's inside of it. During a struggling time I was as far as 15 months behind in payments and the owner not only worked with me on the late fees but allowed me to settle for a reasonable price and I still have everything I owned. The storage unit facility was truly a blessing because had it not been for the owners carrying an understanding of my unique and personal situation my entire life and children's life would be gone and everything we own from family photo albums to Hope chests and family heirlooms. During the last 3 years the entire facility had been severely cleaned up & is currently undergoing renovation & updates. Trash has been removed, security has improved with many cameras recording 24/7 with 360° view of the facility. The dilapidated home that used to sit in the front of the entrance of the facility exteriors has been updated and is currently being renovated. Pot holes in the access road have been addressed by being filled and road graded and is currently still an ongoing work in progress. Not to mention the owner has communicated to me that he plans to landscape the entire facility, update the roof of all the units, paint the siding, remove many abandoned vehicles that have been left there throughout the years and replace the current swing gate with a slide gate and coded access. The code will only be provided to those who have united there and will no longer be an unsecured facility. Lastly, I have never seen a single mouse in either of the two units I still currently have.

I'll be honest. No security at all. The gates are always open or unlocked and I wouldn't be surprised if people were running drugs out of the old rotten rv's on the east end. Within 2 weeks of getting a unit our locks were destroyed by someone trying to get in. Had to have the owner come cut the locks and buy me new ones. I would absolutely not urge anyone to use this place.

Had my storage broken into less than a month into my lease at River City Mini Storage. Wouldn't be surprised if it was the manager himself that stole our items. Not worth it!

This place is an unsecured dump. Old chicken coop pretending to be a storage facility. The owner can't even put up a sign that you read without having to crawl through the jungle growing in the front yard of the dilapidated house at the entrance. John (owner) also makes a point of telling you that the gates are locked every night when in fact they haven't been moved in years. Furthermore he leaves a key outside readily available to anyone to open the back entrance. Along with the lies, the stray cats and the unpaved road, this facility is a meth cooks dream get away. While working there i found several obvious clues of this and also unknowingly got acid all over my arm from inside one of the units which was quickly obvious when its started burning... spend the extra 5 bucks and go somewhere else stay away stay alive.
