BookViking is a unique shop offering an interesting mix of textbooks and a rock shop. It features a great selection of crystals, stones, jewelry, crowns, trinkets, and music boxes. The environment is very cool and neat, with relaxing music. The staff and owners are amazing, very nice, friendly, helpful, community-focused, and know their books and their gems and minerals. A cat is sometimes present and is noted as very kind and the cutest. Some reviewers mention that certain rings are made of something odd, which can turn a finger a dark color or cause a skin reaction, advising customers to keep this in mind. Overall, people have had good experiences and recommend checking out the gem stock.
They know rocks and they know the superstitions held behind rocks. This made the service here useful while shopping for that holistic family member. There is also some needy trinkets and jeweled crowns sold there. At the very least this place is worth visiting because their cat (Thor) is adorable.

Friendly service- very efficent, almost always have the book you're looking for this semester- check it out if you can't find everything you need from the BYUI Store- their prices are generally better, and it'll save you considerable time versus waiting for something to arrive from Amazon!
