All About Chimneys began with a small newspaper advertisement selling a chimney sweep starter kit in 1982. Brian Kulp responded to the ad, picking up the trade that would become the family-run business that it is today, more than 30 years later. The old school bus Brian renovated became well known in the small community of Sandpoint.
Today, the company is operated by 7 friends and family members. Brian’s two sons, Kris and Kalen, are lead installer technicians and co-owners. In 2010, meeting the growth of the business and the community, All About Chimneys opened the Sagle Stove Shop – a retail store offering display stove models, hearth accessories and homeowner access to materials.
