About La Mexicana El Ranchito
La Mexicana El Ranchito is a restaurant located well next door to a hotel and auto repair shop. The outside may not be all that appealing, but inside it has pleasing decor and is very clean. It is often busy and 90% full with a fun, congenial clientele of mostly locals, working men, and farmers. The staff is friendly and provides great service, handling tables like pros so no one waits. The menu is surprisingly diverse with very reasonable prices. The food is real good, fresh, and delicious with sizable portions. Favorites include the beef burrito, fried ice cream, avocado bacon cheeseburger, nachos jaliciense, and the lunch special enchilada and tostada. Meals come with generous baskets of tasty tortilla chips, fresh salsa, and warm bean dip. It is a fantastic place highly recommended by its customers.

This restaurant is located well, next door to the hotel in which I stayed. The owner served me, was very friendly, gave great service! I had a wonderful beef burrito and fried ice cream. The restaurant was very clean, busy, and the staff and locals were friendly. I highly recommend it!

We stayed in Saint Anthony toward the end of 2 weeks wandering around Idaho. In the mountains we came from restaurants were a scarce commodity, so maybe we were primed for something different. El Jalisciense was amazing and so inexpensive! The food was every bit as good as anything we could have gotten in San Diego at twice...

Anything in the parmesan sauce is glorious, especially the shrimp. Seating and service is quick;) Paying takes a bit more time as they do not hurry you. !Deilicioso!
