Came in for some hot chocolate after seeing several people ahead of me fill their cups without any issues. When it was my turn, the cashier suddenly raised his voice, asking what happened to his stickers. I looked around, saw none, and politely asked what he meant, but he shook his head like I’d done something wrong.
As I filled my cup about three-quarters full he told me to stop and claimed the machine was broken, even though others had just used it minutes earlier. He brought out yellow stickers but never placed them, then stood in the way and wouldn’t let me finish. Later, he stood behind the counter with his back to everyone instead of assisting customers.
The whole experience felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. It turned what should’ve been a quick, simple stop for hot chocolate into an unpleasant one. The employee working around 12:10 am on 10/24/25 could really benefit from some retraining on customer service and communication.

If you are a tourist don’t stop at this gas station if you need to buy anything that needs an ID. They want a drivers license and will refuse your identification from your country. Never had a problem with other people working there just one lady!

The women’s bathroom was closed for cleaning, and there was a line of women waiting. So a nice gentlemen started standing guard for women to use the men’s room, but it only had one stall and two urinals. Another nice man peeked his head in the women’s bathroom and said there was no one even in there cleaning!
He urged the line of women to use it (probably because he wanted to use the men’s room) so me and my two kids went into the empty women’s room.
It was at the moment when I locked the stall that a cleaner came in saying she needed to mop.
She kicked my little girl out and told her to go to the gas station across the street.
So not only is she leaving bathrooms closed while unattended, she is also kicking little girls out who need to use the bathroom and sending customers to competition across the street!
If checking off the box that the bathroom got cleaned during your shift is more important than the needs of your customers, then this is not a place for me.

Clean, convenient and reasonably priced. They have the usual grades of unleaded and diesel but they also carry 87 octane unleaded without ethanol. This is really helpful for old boats and cars.

It's a good maverick but the men's bathroom is pretty strange. Only has one toilet in a giant stall with a gap that anyone can see you through. If they either get the stall so no one can see in or they add another toilet I will change to 5 stars. I just prefer some privacy when using the restroom.

We stopped in later in the evening on the July 3rd, and we had a cashier I believe her name was Myla and she was a kind women, she talked and joked with us. It just made the experience better

I am always impressed by the quality of Maverick gas stations. I would strongly recommend if you have a choice of gas stations when you get off the interstate, that you choose a maverick station. The gas is inexpensive and store facilities are impeccably attractive and clean.

My husband and I stopped for drinks. My husband paid for the drinks while I went to the restroom. He told the employee that I would be coming out and to let me know he paid. The employee watched me come out and look for my husband. Watched me pay again and get into the car with my husband in the handicapped parking spot. Very poor customer service!
