“I have been raising, training, and field trialing my dogs for 61 years. During my time in the United States Army I was President Gerald Ford’s dog trainer and delivered 9 Golden Retriever puppies in a converted bedroom on the 3rd floor of the White House Residence.

Today I brought my 10-year-old Spinger Spaniel, Keeper, to Countryside for the first time. He was seen first by Dr. Thomas and then Dr. Richard consulted. What a great team!

Keeper’s two issues were quickly diagnosed and then we had a discussion about a more serious, long-term joint injury issue I have to make a decision about. Surgery or not. I received an outstanding opinion from Dr. Richard that helped confirm the direction I was already leaning.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the amazing support staff. Northeast Idaho is very, very fortunate to have a large/small animal clinic like Countryside. I called after hours last night, had a call back within minutes from Dr. Richard, and was given their first appointment this morning.

I wish I could give them 10 stars!
