I've been purchasing from the Alpine Shop for over 10 yrs; whether the previous owner or Zach, the current owner, the merchandise and staff were always excellent...except recently. Received absolutely lousy and condescending counsel from a woman that works there when discussing ski equipment.

Super awesome shop. A little bit of everything and the staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. It’s worth going to sandpoint over the some of the shops in CDA.

Without boring you with the details of how difficult it always is for me to get new boots due to my super wide feet, I just can’t say enough how great the Alpine Shop is! They really went above and beyond what would reasonably be expected to ensure that my new boots would work for me. They are true masters of the craft of boot fitting.I’ve always been happy with their advice and service when buying new skis for myself and might family as well.

I LOVE Alpine Shop! We stop in every time we come to Sandpoint, no matter what season. This Saturday, we checked out their 20% off sale. The lady working (I think her name was Judy) was SO kind and helpful. She helped me find a long dress-vest I had been looking for. She also helped me find a fleece to try on so I could be sure it fit over a different top. Every time we come in, the customer service is top-notch. I can never walk out of this store empty-handed!

Stopped in today for a pair of good mittens for our daughter. Susan immediately and cheerfully greated us, showed us options, and answered all kinds of questions all while being amazing with our 6 year old. We ended up with a couple other items she suggested, too.Owners: her kind of customer service is rare. Hang onto that one! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As a former racer who hung up the race skis 20 years ago, I’ve been hanging onto my race boots for the last few decades, and finally had to rip the Band-Aid off and get a new pair. I was dreading the experience, but Justin and the folks at Alpine shop made the experience truly delightful. Due to their knowledge, expertise and thorough fitting techniques, I found a great pair of boots that I comfortably sat in for over 30 minutes without any pain or discomfort. They had plenty of inventory left in December to find the right fit and I would not hesitate to go back for future outdoor gear needs.

A shout out to Joey and the staff at Alpine Shop. My husband and I were in need of a Presta bike pump attachment while visiting the area. Thanks for the friendly advice and quick service to get air into our mountain bike tires. Will definitely return to your spacious ski and bike shop.

I was in the store the other day and they were helpful and friendly. Today my husbands had a unique problem with his Specialized mountain bike which he could not solve. Alpine came to the rescue with a quick fix. The staff were knowledgeable and eager to help.

Recently bought a Hobie here and can say it was one of the best shopping experiences I have had in a long time. Everyone here is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Joe hooked me up and got the turbo fins installed and gave me a full demo right away. This is my new place for summer and winter sporting gear!

Sandpoint has been in dire need of a shop of this caliber for decades. So glad these owners have finally made that happen. Incredible service paired with a staff that is clearly and exceptionally knowledgeable about not only what they sell, but what else is on the market. More than happy to patronize this family owned local shop.
