This vet will up sell you into every test know to Dog. Went in for diahria and was told they need blood tests, X-rays and sonogram. We respectfully declined and went home. Imodium and over the counter probiotics fixed it.

I've been a customer for over ten years. Over the past few numerous changes have been made. I was literally just hung up on while trying to understand one of these changes. I wasn't rude. Just perplexed. Anyway. Taking my business elsewhere but wish them the best.

I took my dog to get groomed with the primary need was to get her nails clipped. The groomer called and informed me that she wasn't able to groom her as she was took anxious and was only able to shampoo and rinse her. When I picked her up they charged me $40 for a bath!

Dr. Stegemoller is my hero. I am so grateful North Idaho Animal hospital leaves empty slots in their day for urgent needs. Everyone in the area is so busy right now with so many people having moved here I think, and I needed help with my dog's swelling, hives, and general misery. They were able to book me in in less than 20 minutes and then the vet tech and Dr. Stegemoller took such good care of Charles (and his worried mama). Answered all my questions, didn't rush, asked lots of good questions and were the best I've ever seen at helping my dog feel comfortable at the vet, his least favorite place. They got him a steroid injection for his allergic reaction and patiently explained how I can care for him! Thank you so so so much - I needed this after a sleepless night.

Where do I start!? I ended up fostering a family members 12 year old dog who had a massive hematoma on his ear. It was a 25 hour drive back home and the minute we arrived, I called everywhere asking who could get him in the soonest. I initially spoke with Regina who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to do anything she could to help this poor pup. She got him in right away and the vet performed their procedure, giving our foster boy immediate relief. He is still healing, but since then, we have had nothing but amazing experiences with literally every single one of their staff members. They are all extremely friendly and diligent with their practice. You can truly tell that this is a special place the moment you walk through the door. This place is clearly about the well being of the animals and not just about a pay check. I highly recommend this establishment.

I was seriously impressed with this facility, all the staff, and Dr Neher! Their focus on fear free treatment made the surgery a non-traumatic event for my shy girl. I had ovary sparing spays done on two golden retrievers. If I lived in Sandpoint, THIS would be my vet!

While traveling in the area, as full time RVers, we found it necessary to take our large Goldendoodle to a Veterinarian to have stitches removed from his inside ear flap due to a previous surgery. We took Bear to VCA North ID Animal Hospital. The staff were well prepared and took it upon themselves to get his records from our Vet back home. They were professional and, even more important, gentle with our dog by prioritizing his comfort over expediency. When he was done, they said we were good to go. I asked how much I owed, they said that there was no charge to remove his stitches. We were very surprised since they were not the ones who had done the initial surgery. We couldn't be more grateful for their kindness to not only Bear but also to us. Thank you! Ann W.

Do not take any animal to this place. All they care about is the bill and the care and knowledge is horrible. To start had an appointment for ex rays and ultrasound. Went to pick up dog when they said he was ready and they hadn't done the planned tests. Excuse was they hadn't gotten papers sighted for payment. First I always pay them I wasn't a new customer, second why wouldn't that get covered at drop off? Also we were doing tests to try to find out the medical issue so if you actually cared about animals wouldn't you do the planned tests that the appointment was specifically for and take the small/ non existent chance of no payment. In the beginning blood tests I said I would pay and to do any any every test possible from blood work. So ends up they didn't even test blood for what they thought was the problem ? Jumped right to wanting to do a very intrusive and dangerous needle test without even doing all the simple blood tests. Luckily I got smart and changed vets. Simple blood test some medicine and all better. So incompetent do not use them

I was just a no show for my doggie and your staff was so darn sweet, understanding and compassionate. It's a real treat to deal with someone who sends their smile through the phone. Thank you girls for accommodating Simba and I.

I am very happy to have found this practice. Very caring, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. They got us in the same day and saved my goose that had been attacked by a dog. Can't say enough good things about them! Doctor did an excellent job! Highly recommend!

Best vets we have ever been to. Superb quality, facilities, and level of professionalism. The vets, the techs, the entire experience is first-rate. Go to them even if you have to travel 200 miles. It's worth it.
