I don’t have my pup yet and I already know this was the |absolute| best option for my service animal. I am so stoked and it’s propelling my life forward. Tanya is so authentic and genuine- IT TRANSCENDS THROUGH THE PHONE VIA CALLS AND TEXTS/factime- she is exactly who I needed. I am glad she is easy to trust.
I feel validated and supported in that this investment on myself is worth everything. And that I couldn’t have picked a better person OR place to start this journey. Thank you Tanya for putting the effort towards making this a seamless transition ?
I adore and appreciate Sand point Doodles so much and I haven’t even seen the dogs yet!

This review is coming from a father who already had 2 dogs in the house and was against another. Of course, when my daughter looked into a service dog, I listened. I can honestly tell you that the addition of Tanya’s trained dog has been one of the best things that has happened to our family.

Tanya is amazing. Her love, patience and attention to the puppies means the dogs are loving and ready to bond. She remains available for all kinds of questions ( we picked up our bernedoodle 5 days ago) Our family member needed a service dog. Tanya didn't have any available in 2 upcoming litters but after talking about our needs said she could look at a puppy she knew from another breeder. She checked the dog out and said he had a good personality for us. Our deposit on that dog meant she'd start to train and if we decided he wasn't the right match we could switch the deposit to a puppy from a future litter This meant the timeline to get a trained service dog was much faster and we liked the flexibility about matching personalities. We were able to meet the dog and Tanya at her home in between basic and advanced training. We also saw two litters of puppies at that time. Her set up is ideal and her devotion supreme. We knew this was a good choice. During training she sent frequent photo and video updates of the dog. At 10 months we picked up our trained dog. He does so well with public spaces, walking, and sit. He needs new potty training as he transitioned from farm life to an apartment but it is going well. He adapted to the classroom easily-- can sit for hours si long as he is near his humanThere is another reviewer who complained that their bernedoodle is anxious and scared. Maybe that person doesn't know the breed? When we read about the breed online it clearly says that they can be "skittish" around strangers and will need lots of socialization with various types of people to help their confidence. Tanya explained our bernedoodle would be nervous about some new things and needs the owner to show patience and calm that a situation is ok. They look to the owner for assurance and not the other way around. This is not a brave or bold dog. He is like a live stuffed animal: wants hugs, petting, close proximity to owner. So as an ESA ( though ours is more than this) he's perfect. As he gets used to rooms and situations he is confident when with owner. If it's a new person or room, he is nervous. That's ok for our needs. If you need a bolder personality then talk to Tanya and others about fitTanya sent our pup with a blanket to ease his transition and some of his favorite toys. He never looks at human food or expects something from the table. She trains her dogs with healthy food and the occasional Starbucks pup cup or a scrambled egg. We love our bernedoodle and are so grateful for Tanya's love, guidance and care for both puppy and owner. We feel lucky to have found Sandpoint doodles!!!

My Sandpoint Doodles Bernedoodle just passed the Public Access Test to be a service dog with flying colors. I joked with the trainer, “You didn’t think a Bernedoodle could do it, did you?” (He does not like doodles—thinks most of them are bred carelessly and can have hyper or fearful temperaments). He said, “This is the best Bernedoodle I’ve ever seen.” Wonderful calm, confident temperament. Playful as a puppy when he’s not working and is outside, but focused when he’s working. Affectionate and loves both people and other dogs, and very little prey drive. Our dog does have allergies and needs special food and the occasional shot. That’s the only downside, but that can happen with any dog you get.

We are very pleased with our adorable tri-color mini Bernedoodle. Her name is Betty and she will be turning 1 soon. Tanya was very kind and helpful throughout the process and graciously accommodated our request to see the property prior to bringing her home. It's a family-run operation on a big plot of land with good living conditions for the puppies and parents, so we felt confident.Betty has been wonderful in every way. She is so sweet, eager to please, and truly loves people. She is great with children as well. She was easy to train, we took her to a few classes and she excelled. She's also incredibly cute, everyone wants to say hi to her when we're out on walks. We love our healthy and happy puppy.

Purchased our doodle a year ago I spoke with Tanya many times she sounded perfect for a hands on breeder I was excited to keep her updated on the progress of our pup but after a couple emails she really didnt seem interested. Our pup is very loving has put many a smile on our face. However since the age of 8weeks and when it was safe he has been out and about we were socializing him as much as poss. He was to be our theropy dog visiting hospitals ect. I am a trainer of dogs, show, conformation ect so I know what is needed. Our poor pup is scared of people, even family members who come to visit, he is afraid bikes, strollers ect We have taken him to weeks of training classes best in our area but we are now being told his anxiety is most likely in bred. I would not give him up for the world but very disappointed can not have him as a threropy dog. Can not walk downtown with him can not take him to car shows which my husband participates in. Taking him on trips is not always easy because of his anxiety. So if purchasing a dog from here please meet the parents as we should have done see their personalities maybe we should have picked from a different litter where parents were outgoing Im not sure where the disconnect came from we love our dog but hate the fact he has such anxiety.

We have nothing but amazing things to say about Sandpoint Doodles. Our pup that we got almost two years ago has been nothing but an amazing addition to our family. Tanya and her family have always been available to answer any questions even after we purchased our pup and took her home. Almost a year into having her we were getting her spayed and needed advice on the breed on a an open recommended procedure from our vet. Tanya was easy to get a hold of and quick to answer all the questions we have. We are thinking about getting another Dood and Sandpoint is the only one we are looking to repurchase with.

We got a labradoodle from this breeder. The poor puppy's hips started to click (at age 4months old) We took her to our vet she took x-rays and said it was the worst case of hip dysplasia she had ever seen. Also was told she wouldn't shed -Worst shedding dog we've ever had. Even worse than our lab mix. This breeder should not be breeding dogs. She doesn't know what she's doing. Only in it for the $
