We would like to thank everyone at Nelson's Automotive, Bob, Todd and our mechanic. Our vehicle was towed there with a broken axle and other issues right at closing time. They waited patiently took care getting us setup for service. Initially we expected to be down for a week or two but Bob was great in getting our truck serviced very quickly. They communicated with us regarding every issue and sent updates to the estimates for approval or denial. I really like their communications and documention of details. I called when I had questions and they responded immediately. Our business was back up and running within 4 days! I definitely found my new automotive repair shop and highly recommend them. They came thru for us and the truck is working great. Not cheap but fair and thorough mechanics at it's best. They cared about us and our business as much as our truck and that was very important to me! It turned out that one of our customers was also a customer of Nelson's Automotive and after she told us she had taken her vehicle to them as well and we listened to her personal review, we were positive that we had chosen the right place. Nelson's Automotive has two customers for life!

We live 40 miles west of Sandpoint so have to wait while they service our vehicles. Nelson Auto has always completed the work in the timeframe estimate they provided. I was able to run errands in a loaner car while I waited. Thank you.

I was able to get an appointment the day after I called. I was given a loaner car while my car was serviced which was very convenient. It only took a couple hours to complete what I needed and then a flush was recommended. They waited until I called back and this was done in a timely manner. Service was friendly and affordable. I am very appreciative for Nelson’s.

Folks are great and always get me in the rotation quickly. They do a good inspection and service and are helpful with suggesting potential future maintenance to be done but never trying to charge ya for unnecessary stuff.

I was stranded on my motorcycle near this shop because a bolt rattled off. Even though they don't work on motorcycles, they still helped me get it back on the road and didn't want to take my money. Thank you.

I called to have my AC recharged and when the phone was answered the gentleman said, "Nelson's, what can I do for you in two weeks?", which made me think, bummer 2 wks? But it also made me laugh and appreciate his upfrontness. When I told him what I needed he explained he couldn't do a complete system check, but was able to get me in that day to recharge my system, if that is what I chose to do, and I did.
He had my vehicle for all of maybe 2hrs and I received notice it was ready and what the charge was.
I appreciate the willingness to help, and get the job done in such a timely manner.
Bob was super friendly, as was the one technician I spoke to briefly.
Happy to say my weekend trip to Glacier was very cool, both inside and outside the vehicle!
