I was scammed by an eBay seller from Pakistan. Thankfully, this Post Office provided all the necessary documentation to prove the package was fraudulent.
This saved me $500! They did all this while running around like crazy helping other customers with a massive number of packages.
Thank you so much Shannon and Jennifer!!

Zero stars for Sandpoint Post office. Lazy and rude are their best qualities.

For the last few weeks all of my packages are marked at Delivery Attempted (though it wasn't - I have cameras and work from home). I have had to go into the post office multiple times a week to retrieve my packages. It's so inconvenient.

My mail is being held captive at 4107 Samuelson the Ponderosa Appartments in a locker identified as C2P. This is mail that belongs to apartment D130. The key that is identified as C2P goes in the lock but will not open the locker. I am concerned as Noone will.be coming to this site until Monday. Electronics of one item could be damaged by the heat. I have.plsced the key for C2P IN MY MSIL BOX of D130 with a note. This is a heads up that heat could damage the electronic equipment that one of the items in there.
There are 3 packages.

Walk in the door and look at the ceiling and the lights of the main lobby. This is the type of service the Sandpoint USPS provides. Shameful.

Package delivery issues are getting ridiculous (and no, not just Amazon). Medications delivered to the wrong recipient, and most recently, a package sent to me by a friend was just tossed onto a neighbor's patio (who then thankfully found and brought it to me the next day). And online orders are a crapshoot as to whether I'll get them on time or at all... I know some folks there work hard, but others apparently don't care because they know we have no recourse.

I have lived in Sandpoint 51yrs and never in my life have I seen such a dirty messy lobby. Spiders, flies, garbage ! Wake up postmaster and get the contractors or employees to clean the place up. Take pride in your job and building. Enid Trenholm

Absolutely terrible delivery service. over the past few weeks my packages are constantly marked as “out for delivery,” but they never actually show up. Apparently the drivers here are too lazy to walk a few feet to my door or even put the package in the mailbox where it belongs.
It’s pathetic how little effort is put into actually doing the job. If you don’t feel like delivering packages, don’t work as a delivery driver — simple as that.

Delivery drivers are too lazy to get out of their car. Says they attempted delivery but there was “no secure location available”. First off, no you didnt even attempt to deliver it, I have cameras and there was no attempt. Second off, its a vinyl record, so not a large or heavy box by any means, you have delivered bigger packages to my door before with no problem. How secure of a location do you need? This has now happened multiple times. If you cant do the job you signed up to do, go find another job

Absolutely ridiculous. The guy who delivers our mail drives at minimum 40 mph on a small backstreet while smoking a cigarette — it’s only delivered/the outgoing is taken about 50% of the time on top of that. There’s another lady who drives like a maniac too. When I had a P.O. Box, they’d just stuff it with old junk from past holders of the box… so all of my stuff would just get held… before they stuffed it again with people who haven’t had the box for 10 years. Also had multiple instances where it was just mail in the wrong box. Disaster! It’s hard to get employees in this area, but there are clearly some other issues here.

Forgot to deliver my package and lied and said they couldn't gain access to delivery location. They delivered half my mail just not my small package. This driver is always really bad at his job it's not the regular guy just some random guy that works once or twice a week and it seems like he wasn't trained at all and the fact that he's lying about not having access to my location is really making me wonder if he's qualified for the job at all. I've always had positive experiences with USPS but I won't tolerate lying and if I have any further issues I'll be addressing the issues with a manager because this is unacceptable

Been calling for a good 30 minutes and nobody is answering. Am just wanting to have my packages held there but can’t do that if no one answers the phone. Super frustrating.

Perhaps the laziest Federal employees out there. Will not take a package 45 ft to the door and will
Just tag it that the mailbox is full. Considering legal action at this point as they are supposed to be held accountable to the law. Poor performance. It is not a wonder that the USPS is failing and will be gone in the near future.
