1% stuff they get from reservations and 99% PRC-made garbage. Had bought some outdoor items there in the past, but the old grumpy owner makes it worth just passing by. Looks quaint from the outside, but actually just a chochsky-hucker/tourist trap for gullible first time visitors to the Wood River Valley.

WARNING: STAY AWAY if you want to avoid being treated horribly, especially if you have young children! Worst customer service experience! We wish we would have read the past reviews first or spoke to people who have been here before stopping by. Don't waste your time and money to support this business who apparently for years can be extremely bitter towards unsuspecting customers. Totally uncalled for! I do not wish for anyone else to be treated with such hostility. More people need to know about the lady who owns this place. Our first sign to leave this place immediately was the cold stares we received the whole time we were inside. We didn't see any sign that says no photos or video recordings allowed (mind you, I had the intention to share with others what this place has to offer), but rather than respectfully being asked to not record anything, a lady with the nastiest look on her face comes out from behind the counter and suddenly yells at me to shut my camera off! When I told her she didn't have to be rude about it, she claimed I felt that way because I didn't get what I want! How ridiculous! Lady, if you would have nicely asked me not to take any pictures or videos, I would have respected your request.

This souvenir shop has a lot of merchandise. Much of it was way out of my price range though. They did have interesting geodes, crystals and stones.

After touring the local caves, our family field trip stopped at the Bear Claw Trading Post. We have driven by this place hundreds of times, and we have never stopped by.I am very impressed with this shop! There is a lot to see, and my kids were excited about the collection of unique items. My son left happy with a tarantula inside of a keychain, which set me back around $20. That certainly isn't something you can find in the other local gift shops. ?♀️ If you are looking for something different, stop by.

Some really great stuff from polished rocks to jewelry to rugs. The wife and I have been there a few times and we discover new things.

Pretty cool store with interesting and beautiful stuff. The owners have terrible customer service though and really rude makes you feel uncomfortable being in there. Almost don't want to get anything because all they do is stare at you like you are doing something wrong by being in there and don't say a word.

Absolutely loved this store! At first the owner was a bit guarded but by the time we left we were all having a great conversation. The owners are very nice people and we were treated with respect, they were informative and helpful with any questions we had. Neat store with so many things. My new favorite!!

They have good little souvenirs for tourists like myself, but the customer service is terrible. The lady (owner) was full of attitude just because we didn’t have a card or anything smaller than a hundred to pay with. If you have a shop you should really learn to treat customers well otherwise you’ll lose business.

Fake, all fake cheap tourists trap! Always has been fake, Always will be fake. All imported definitely from Asia, India or China. I was born in Hailey Idaho raided in Fairfield and the owners have always been the same the store has always been the same and it's all fake overpriced not fair trade probably from a sweat shop junk. Don't saport them in their consumer capitalist ways.

I'm originally from the area and thought it would be fun to take a ride doing touristy stuff with the family. We stopped by the store and was met with VERY rude customer service. Woman behind the counter began eaves dropping on my fathers phone call and corrected/interrupted his conversation with a family member. Her attitude to other customers was just as horrible. When asked the woman said that she was owner and manager. We as a family of 5 put our (over-priced) merchandise back and quickly left. It's really sad that this person represents this store. I would hate to think that she would treat tourists this way as well. On a positive note....the store offered a variety of knick knacks and souvenirs.

The owner of this place is a complete j**** Literally my pops was on the phone talking about where we were and she sat there correcting him. Some other patron brought his soda in and she was rude telling him to get it out. Asked for a Manger and she was the owner. Don't spend your money here. I'm all about spending money in local places but this lady is just plain rude.

I also am a local and have always enjoyed this place. But the manager (female) is very rude. Not helpful in any way. Totally felt like I was putting her out. Really sad and won't be going there again. I think maybe she has been in the store for far to long and it doesn't excuse her behavior.
