We were driving through the area when our small elderly dog had some kind of episode. We were terrified that we would need to put her to sleep. Dr. Bollar was on call for emergencies. He took great care of our girl and sent us on our way with medication and information to follow up with our vet at home.

Had a emergency with our truck dog Molly with an upper respiratory infection and was coming through the town and the wonderful doctor took time in between surgeries to check molly out and prescribe antibiotic. Thank you for your service and kindness shown.

Last Sunday, June 2nd, I was throwing a pine stick and my dog caught it deep in his mouth, causing him to choke up pieces of pine splinters. He whimpered and coughed, in obvious pain. Later he started having bloody saliva/drool from his mouth and coughed when he drank water. Concerned, I called Dr. B*****, who was on-call that Sunday. He agreed to come in and I drove from Lava Hot Springs to meet him at the clinic. Dr. B***** was very gentle with ******, my dog, and easily gained his trust. He was able to see deep cuts in ******'s throat and side of his mouth. He gave him a shot to decrease the swelling and get rid of the pain, in addition to giving him an antibiotic. On Monday morning at 8:30am, Dr. B***** called me to check on ****** and was ready to make a referral, if needed. All has gone well and a week later, B***** is back to chasing after tennis balls. No more sticks; I've definitely learned my lesson! What a relief to know that we have such a great, caring vet in our area. Thank you Dr. B***** very much.... Read More

I've never met any vetrinarian who cares so much about my furry family members. (He takes great care of their humans too) I wouldn't trust another vet to treat my most beloved friends. Empathy and compassion are hard to find in this world, Dr. Bollar has them in spades, shares these rare traits with us, JV cares so much it's second nature to him. There aren't words to convey how grateful the humans in my family and I are for Doc.
