Visitors can enjoy mining for opals by paying for a bucket, which allows them to spend the entire day searching through untouched rock and keeping everything that fits. The staff are seriously the nicest people, going above and beyond to make it a great day and teaching guests how to find the opals. The business includes a great little lunch place or café inside with a few healthy options like salads and burgers. There is also a rock shop and gift store where guests can shop for beautiful pieces of jewelry, like opal or amethyst set in gold, or purchase mystery boxes of raw opals. The owners and staff are super helpful and amazing, answering all questions. The experience is very family friendly and one that visitors will love and remember.

Stopped at the mine last April. big mine was not open yet.The mini mine was so much fun for rock hounds especially when you love opal.
The guys Isaac,Kade and Ty go above and beyond to make it an experience you’ll remember.Erin is super helpful in every way .They do beautiful work as well..

We are currently here and so impressed. We did the mini dig for 75$ and found several opals. Paused for lunch at the café inside. They are seriously the nicest people and we have had a great day here. We love it!

Had a girls night! Ordered 10 of the to go boxes. Everything looked great. Owners answered all my questions and were amazing
