This was the best archery shop I have ever been to. People were knowledgeable and very helpful. They set my sons bow up in no time and made sure it was right before we left.

First time bow shopping, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Cisco helped me pick my first bow and taught me everything I needed to know before leaving. Great local shop, will be coming here for all my archery needs

I don't leave reviews, this may be the first I've written. Advantage Archery is a superior bow shop. Caleb and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable and customer service oriented. This shop is often busy, for good reason, and they work hard to attend to everyone. I drive four hours round trip from Boise to support this business, because the service and effort to make sure my bow is shooting great is top notch. They always have lots of product on the shelves to choose from. Thanks for everything AA!

Caleb and his staff down there are extremely knowledgeable about archery and provide recommendations based on EXPERIENCE. I have never had an issue regarding products sold, installed, or recommended by them. Anytime I take my bow in and Cisco tunes it up, I have %100 confidence the bow is set up right. Wouldn't recommend any other bow shop! On all my bow purchases, the salesman ensures that I get the best quality product for my budget. Unfortunately, archery can get expensive FAST, and the staff at advantage ensure that "up selling" or attempting to turn you to product out of your price range is not the focus. They ensure they recommend the best product for you and your pocket book!

I was new to shooting a bow when i first found Advantage Archery. Caleb and his staff were amazing. I was not a hunter but was interested in 3D and indoor shooting. Caleb explained that a hunting bow can be used for both of those disciplines just fine at a lower pricepoint than a Target Bow. The staff at Advantage always tried to keep my budget goal in mind while getting me set up with the best equipment for my needs. Caleb and Cisco are top notch. Oh and the guy that used to build arrows there a few years ago was one of the best IMO

I used to shoot when I was younger and excited to get back into archery and after reading the reviews was excited to go here. We were quickly assisted but the only question we were asked was how much we wanted to spend. No questions about what we wanted or were looking for, just how much money. Never been so disappointed, I expected to walk out with a bow but I am not interested when the sales rep doesn't care to learn anything about what we want or need. If you want to spend a predetermined amount of money with no consideration to you as a customer I guess this is the shop for you, not for me. **Reply from Caleb @Advantage Archery "James Thanks for reviewing us. Sorry that you had a poor experience in the shop. We start almost all our interactions with the question of what is a comfortable budget. It has nothing to do with "how much money". It helps us focus on the bows that will best suit the customer needs for the "money" invested. We feel that to help our customers the best we can we want to know where the budget is. A set up can range from a few hundred dollars to a couple thousand. I can assure you that if you would let us know what you wanted instead of expecting us to pry it out you the whole situation would have been different. Thanks Caleb" **Reply to Caleb Hi Caleb, thanks for taking the time to respond to my review. Based on your response however I feel like there is a disconnect. Your website is the reason I was excited to come in as it states right on the home page: "The problem is some sporting goods stores want to sell you the most expensive hunting equipment, not necessarily the equipment that is best suited for your needs. This can make you feel frustrated or even confused when you don't see the results you expected." Walking into the store I had no budget and expected to spend several thousand dollars for 2 bows but what I was looking forward to was not having to overspend unnecessarily. So when Francisco began by requiring a budget before moving on to anything else, I quickly had the impression that if I was honest I would walk out with the most expensive bows regardless of my need because he never took the time to even ask why we were there. As an example, he only quoted prices on hunting bows, I am not a hunter and came in with a target bow in mind. When I asked about the target bows I was told that you don't really cater to them because your customer base is primarily hunters. Now a reasonable sales rep would have taken that question as a cue that perhaps I am interested in target bows but again we went right back to budget and the cost of hunting bows. Again, looking for a consultative approach that doesn't focus on selling me the most expensive bow (as stated on your website) I don't really see how immediately asking for my budget instills trust that you aren't just trying to sell me the most expensive bow possible. Admittedly I lost interest in Francisco as a sales rep and Advantage Archery at that point which may be where I am to blame as you stated that information had to be pried from me but from my perspective you are trying to earn my trust and you lost it from the moment the conversation began. While Advantage Archery may "start almost all our interactions with the question of what is a comfortable budget" I doubt you'll find that strategy in any sales best practices. Even used cars salesmen begin by asking what type of your car you're looking for before budget and that is a larger investment. The purpose of my review is to let people know that what is stated on your website is not a true representation of the experience that I had walking into your shop. This is only reinforced by the blame that you assigned to me for not being a good enough customer. Again, maybe your sales technic is what some are looking for, just not me, which I thought you understood by what your website states.

Caleb Drake can only be described as a prodigy when it comes to all things archery and especially bow tuning. I live in the Boise area and sacrifice the four hours it takes me to drive to Twin Falls out of my life every year to have Caleb check out my bow and equipment before hunting season begins. Seriously, this guy is the best I've ever seen in 40 years.

I’m a newbie when it comes to bows, came in and talked to Cisco, he told me to come in on a different day and he’ll walk me through fundamentals and proper shooting techniques. Help me adjust my mistakes and I was able to put arrows on target. Very knowledgeable and friendly. You tell them your budget and he tries to put you around it. I would definitely recommend going to them.

Bought a bow from this company a year ago. Seemed annoyed that I was there, didn’t check my draw length or explain what draw length I’d need. Just sold me a used bow and arrows and sent me on my way. No explanation on techniques or what I should be doing when practicing. I understand they have a business to run and can’t help every beginner, but other places I’ve been like d&b or cabelas were more than happy to help me and answer question. Very poor customer service if you are a beginner. Would not recommend this store.

Went in a few weeks ago to have my new to me used bow fitted/tuned to me, had a younger guy behind the counter help me. Seemed annoyed while he was helping me, I obviously was new to the sport didn’t know much and was just looking for advice and help. I shot the bow after it was “adjusted” about 5 times, guy said it was accurate enough and I was sent out the door with my bow “ready to go”, come to find out it was far from ready and what was “done” at the shop was off. My draw length was off, peep sight was too high, and d loop was high, inaccurate from the start, even my arrow was leaving the bow at an angle. Being brand new to archery I had no idea any of these were not correct leaving the shop. The only way I found out all this was wrong was after repeated inaccurate shots, online research and help from a very knowledgeable friend who pointed out these issues with the bow. Guy could of been having a rough day and I totally understand that, just a little disappointed in the work preformed/paid for.
