Pre-paid and they still charged hidden fees and charged $150 for an extra hour when the car was returned within the expected time frame. Also charged for gas when I filled up at the nearest gas station.

My rental car windshield got damaged on the interstate. They had me fill my car insurance and credit card claims info. And in the end they took 5 months of doing nothing only to send me a letter 5 months later with the bill saying they’ll just charge it to my credit card. No wonder this company is going bankrupt. Now I have to do the paperwork myself to get the charges refunded by my insurance and credit card company.

First off, I want to express my complete and utter displeasure with the employees at this Budget Car Rental. I had discrepancies with the billing and when I attempted to resolve them I was told to “Call back later, I'm washing a carâ€. I don't know what cars they're washing out there but it wasn't mine. The rental smelt of B.O. and there had been no attempts to clean the Doritos out from under the seats. And don't bother with the 1(800) number, they're more inept than these people. I wish there was a lesser star rating on this site because they would recieve it. If you are left with no other options and have to rent from this establishment, make sure that you are clear with what you want and what you are expecting to receive (car miles etc). The discrepancy came from their negligence and this less than savory review is coming from their lack of work ethic and ability to take initiative to right what had been wronged.

I reserved a mini van with a confirmation number. I called budget the night I was supposed to pick up the van and told them I might be late that night after close, he said no problem just come in when we open. That was the night of June 20,2018. The next morning we arrived an hour after they open at 9, the lady working tells me we rented your van, we'll give give you a smaller vehicle for the same price. We had to leave a lot of luggage and bedding for staying at relatives out of state. This really put a damper on our family vacation. I don't believe it's fair to say I never called and there was no note so we rented your reserved van. Especially without a discount on a smaller cheaper no frills small suv, that we had to cram five people in to go on what was supposed to be a relaxing drive. Update Budget did refund $66 to my account for the price difference. I would rather have had the mini van, so we could have brought our bedding and beach chairs etc.

We don't rent a car often - and when we do we consider many variables, price, value, ease of pickup/return, ease of reservation. We chose Budget this time and it was a great choice. We made our original reservation online, plans changed, we had to modify the reservation --- no problem. We reserved a mid-size car, Hyundai, or Toyota etc. When we picked the car up it was a Chevy Equinox -- what a pleasant surprise. They had all our paperwork at the desk - we just signed it and off we went. Return was just as quick and smooth. Granted this is a smaller facility, but the staff was courteous and everything went quickly and with no delays. Definitely will use Budget in the future.

I rent cars from Budget all the time. In Killeen, TX, Boise, ID and Twin Falls, ID, I have always had excellent and professional service and very clean cars. I will always rent from Budget if I'm in need of a clean, reliable car. =)
