I arrived 30 minutes before my 3:00PM scheduled car rental pick-up time Feb 19th, 2022. Upon arrival at the desk, it quickly became obvious that there were no staff available. After telephoning customer service, I was advised that my best recourse was to cancel my booking (made over a month in advance) as the desk would not have a live body at the counter until 10:00PM that evening. Since this was a business trip, I was left with no alternative but to rent with Avis at the adjacent counter. This cost me hundreds of dollars in additional charges which I will now have to explain to my company's management.National have received complaints from me via telephone and their website email, yet apparently could give a damn about my business, much less the expensive calamity they caused as I've not heard a peep.

DON’T RESERVE WITH NATIONAL… THEY ARE NOT AT THIS AIRPORT!!We reserved van through National online 5 months before our family vacation. National did not ever inform us that they closed their office at the airport!! We went to pick up the van & no one was there!! We had to figure it out for ourselves that Enterprise was renting for National & then drive all the way across town to Enterprise who then told us they didn’t have our reservation. A manager finally found our reservation in an “older” computer program but she said they did NOT have any cars for us to take since they were all rented out!! We thought our vacation was ruined with no vehicle to drive. Enterprise called us right before they closed & someone dropped off a suv that we could use, although we received it dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke!! It was horrible!! It also died on the Oregon coast & when I called Enterprise for assistance they said I had to pay to have it jumped. I ended up calling my own ins company for assistance. NEVER renting from National OR Enterprise EVER AGAIN!!

So I am the only person getting a rental car from national. After waiting 35 minutes I finally get my car, I found a half eaten sandwich and some old french fries in the backseat the front windshield looks like someone threw up on it and it was just all-around not very clean! After waiting so long to get my car I missed my doctors appointment which made it even worse! If you’re going to rent a car from national at the Twin Falls Idaho airport I would either think twice or maybe allow for a good hour before you get your car!I did call and speak to an assistant manager and all he could offer me was oh well next time you rent from us will upgrade your car! All fine and great but in the meantime that’s not helping me out at all in the present!

We rented from Enterprise, but virtually the same company. I got a call from the manager verifying credit card info. I told him we were picking it up. There are no directions where to go. When we get there we see the rental signs for cars at the location. We go into the arrivals area and talk to the lady behind the desk. She claims to have no knowledge of our transaction. We show her our confirmation she says ok, you will need to go over there to get the keys. We said where is over there? She said the building that says readers on it. Mind you it's two blocks away in blistering cold wind. You get there, and you can hear people talking but no direction on where to go. Walk further into the building towards the end of the hall there are offices tucked behind the service counter. Those are the people to help you! The nice lady had me sign some papers handed me keys and told me the car was over there. We go back to the car rental area to find our car wasn't there, but back at the readers location. Wow, what a nightmare! Tips for people picking up cars, have them show you where "there" is otherwise you do unnecessary walking!!

Had to return the first vehicle, starting having a really loud noise from the front left tire. The second vehicle ran better, but had a water leak on the driver side window. Both vehicles had over 30,000 miles. For a rental, that is like 120,000 miles.

The manager and employees that work at National Car Rental/Enterprise are amazing! They go above and beyond to help ensure their customers are taken care of. I recommend these two companies to anyone!

This s*** of a place deserves 0 stars. I went there to exhange my luxury car rental that had flat tyre that i got through Alamo. When i reached there, guy at the counter said they can check out alamo rental but csnt issue one through that but would give us rental car from enterpsie with no additional cost and he will work it out with alamo. He gave us shitty compact car with balding tyre. When we asked for lixury, he said we can try other rental company if we want to oay extra or take that shitty car for whatever wr paid for alamo. So we took that car. On our way back, we almost had accident with cars balding tyre. Then i get charged for this new rental again. I call enterprise corporate, they point me to the counter here, when i called its hard to get someone in phine. When i finally did, person in phone listened my case and said they would issue refund. I wait for refund and it never arrives. Then i call after 10 days and some other guy gives this nimber for manager chase burk that is non existent number. When i could not do anything, i claim dispute from My cc and they say oh i was supposed tompay it. I am not going to stop until I get my refund. Very unprofessional here. Avoid at any cost
