They always take such good care of my mom’s cats. Everyone that works there is so kind and seem to really love what they do! My mom appreciates their approach and shared concern for whoever she brings in. Family friendly too!

They have been great for us. I have experience with taking small animals (dogs) as well as large animals (cows). The vets are helpful and knowledgeable. They are caring and patient even with my geriatric pug that can be a bit of a handful. Can’t give 5 stars because the scheduling/front office can be a bit of a hassle at times.

They are Very Friendly here and are good with the animals. Our dog usually nips at people when approached but she didn't do that with the nurse or vet, which says something about the persona/vibes they give off here. We will continually visit this veterinarian for a long time.

When we first moved to town, our dog had an emergency after getting hit by a car. We were really impressed (and grateful) that they were able to see us so quickly considering how busy their practice is. The vet we saw was incredibly helpful, patient, empathetic, and particularly knowledgeable. He advised a low-key wait and see approach, but was willing to be more proactive if that's the direction we felt strongly about. We are pretty laid back people, so I'm glad we followed doctor's advice since our dog was back to normal quickly and any different care would have been costly and overkill. To make it even better, this practice is much more affordable than any vet we've used before, and the care is among the best. When I got our first bill, I had the receptionist print out the itemized billing because I just simply couldn't believe the price was so low and I was confident that they messed up and left something off the bill. Nope. Just a fairly priced service. Not a single ounce of predatory billing for a new emotional client in an emergency situation. We've returned many times in the last few years, and are really glad to have gotten onto their patient list while they were still accepting new patients. To my knowledge, they aren't accepting new patients, but because of the high standard of care I'd encourage you to call and ask if they'll see you just on the lucky chance they'd say yes.

I thought they were good at first. I would never go back as I believe all 4 doctors I've seen are incompetent. The staff is friendly the place itself is okay but they don't clean between animals there is always hair from whoever and the doctors really don't know what their talking about. I literally didn't believe these guys were real vets. All this being said, the other vets in twin falls are even worse. I'm not sure what is wrong with these vets in twin, but most of the town went to vet school in Washington.

I cannot say enough good things about the vets, techs, and office staff. I have used them for 6 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. They worked hard to help me do the best for my standard poodle with kidney disease. Harli went out of her way to earn his trust on his 4 day stay which put my mind at ease. They are thorough with their exams, take the time to answer ALL your questions, and always took my concerns seriously when I knew something was "off" with my boy and worked to get him in ASAP. When it came time to let him finally rest, all of us in the room had tears. That speaks volumes to me. They are family at this point. There is mention in other reviews that they don't answer the phone but they are REALLY responsive with texts and I have found that works better than multiple calls. Yes, they are not taking new clients but when they are, I suggest you high-tail it over there. Bonus: They take Care Credit!!!

Absolutely incompetent vet office. If you care about your pets and their well being, I STRONGLY urge you to STAY AWAY from this facility!!!Background: My family had been a faithful client of Valley View for the last decade. Cats and dogs. Despite their difficult phone/scheduling system (which they don’t answer, you leave a message and they call you back when it’s convenient for them). Multiple visits over the years. We brought in our German Shepard, who was barely 9 years old at the time, because she was going in and out of consciousness and breathing weird. Clearly she was having a medical emergency. The front desk staff showed no regard for the severity of the situation. They told us to wait in the truck. During that time, our family dog completely stopped breathing. In the back seat of the truck. I went back into tell them what had happened and only then did they act. The vet techs took her to a room and, thankfully, gave her oxygen and grabbed blood. The vet, Dr. Fischer, was beyond incompetent, impersonal, unprofessional, and had a dumfounding lack of urgency, despite our dog not breathing and clearly having a medical emergency. He looked at her and walked away. I asked him what could be going on and he replied “I have no idea,” then proceeded to walk away, again. I told him that his lack of urgency in this medically emergent situation was disconcerting and that his bedside manner was absolutely horrific. To which he responded with “what do you want me to do.” He didn’t care that she was dying in front of me and my baby sister. The labs came back and he couldn’t even give me an explanation as to what was going on with her even though the labs clearly indicated that there were serval things off. He didn’t do an assessment on her. Just stood there looking at her, watching her die. After it was clear that she wasn’t going to make it and they clearly didn’t offer any advice, I BEGGED them to euthanize her so she wasn’t in pain or air hungry. He told me that the medication, phenobarbital, would stop the heart and would be pointless because she was already gone. But she wasn’t. I watched her to struggle to breathe (by myself because the staff mysteriously disappeared), for over 5 minutes until she finally took her last, painful breath. As a medical professional, I know that Phenobarbital is a sedative, given to shut down the nervous system (ie breathing). It doesn’t stop the heart. The incompetency, lack of professionalism, lack of compassion was absolutely astounding. They ended up charging us over $200 for that visit and sent us home with a dead dog and zero explanation as to why. We will never, EVER, take another pet to this vet office.

Your office staff is horrible!!! Funny I have dealt with you directly before regarding the same horse you refused to discuss with me. I have owned my horse for over 10 years and when he was sick in the past you all had zero issue speaking with me and collecting my money but suddenly now there’s a problem when I call you for services. You might want to revisit your records from when I called about MY horse and made arrangements for his care with no issue or argument. Now I call you today to get something setup and it’s like all the sudden I no longer have the rights to scheduling appointments or setting up the care for my animal. I told you I can provide the documentation that I own him and you refused to take that and instead saying I’m disrespectful when you want to argue with me about MY HORSE!!! Shame on you

Dr. Andy helped us put our sweet girl Belle to rest last year at our home. It was the most compassionate service a Veterinarian can provide. Since then our new puppies and our remaining old Girl have received excellent care. Rightfully sought after vets!

After our vet of 25 years retired we took our Chessies to Valley View Vet. We have loved their care and concern for our dogs. Thank you, especially Dr. Harrington
