Conoco is a gas station in the picturesque Idaho Mountains town of Wallace. The new owners have upgraded many things and put money back into the business. The staff is friendly, and there is a bit of everything, including a great souvenir selection. The parking area is spacious and perfect for RVs, right next to the building. There is a bathroom available, though it could use extra attention. Be sure to lock up, as there can be suspicious characters around. Snack prices are pretty high. The area is also noted as a favorite hangout for law enforcement to take photos of cars.
This area and town is picturesque in the middle of the Idaho Mountains. You wouldn't know it's there. Stopped for gas, admired the view and the town. Glad I spotted. Friendly staff too.
