North Idaho Trading Company is a unique and fascinating shop in Wallace, often described as the weirdest little store in the Northwest. It offers a wide variety of antiques, curiosities, and oddities, including hundreds of firearms—both antique and modern—and numerous taxidermy pieces. Visitors can explore an extensive collection of jewelry, advertising signs, retro toys, petroliana, local history items, knives, ammo, musical instruments, vintage clothing, and more. The store is like a museum, with highlights such as a mummified mermaid and historical memorabilia that can keep guests browsing for hours. Many visitors find the pricing to be high but worth the experience, especially for those interested in antiques and oddities. The friendly staff and the store’s eclectic collection make it a popular stop for explorers, road trippers, and collectors of medical antiques and curiosities.
This place is so rad! I would be in serious trouble if I lived closer. The guy was super helpful as well. 11/10 experience.

This is a must stop while in Wallace. They have amazing curated collections, fair prices, well organized and made my OCD brain super happy. Even snagged a couple of treasures while there!
