Based on the reviews, Hoot's Shop and Stay offers a cozy, country experience with very friendly staff and excellent food. The menu has been improved and the food is awesome, with options like eggs Benedict and wonderful hash browns. The rooms are clean, cozy, and come with plenty of hot water, a TV, a dorm fridge, and great heat. The price is unbeatable at $97 a night, and the service is good. The business is pet-friendly with no extra fees, and the shop even gives morning cups of coffee for free. The scenery is breathtaking, making it a perfect stop for a road trip or a first Steelhead fishing trip. The owner and staff provide great help and good company. They also have non-ethanol premium gas and really good prices.

The food was great. Service was very good and the lady serving us was fun and great to work with. Would recommend the Huckleberry pancakes, they are top notch!

She was super. Could joke with her and she gave as good as she got. Was a serious fun place to stop and eat. A super experience. Will go again.

Must be under new owner/management. I love what they did to the place.
Seemed like just a rundown truck stop back in the 80s .
A nice remodel on the Cafe, and convenient store . Also a beautiful banquet room for special occasions. Friendly service ,good food. Also have gluten free breads and buns.
