This should be Zero stars. First off, I have done Biofortis studies for over 20 years and never had a problem. I took one of their take home sample studies recently. I did everything I should have and they don't want to pay me. The study was for 4 products. I received the link to fill out the survey and I did. After the first product the screen read your survey is complete and you can keep your samples. I thought it was odd, but maybe they only wanted the one sample from me. Didn't think anything of it as it said I was complete. I figured if they had a problem they would contact me. I check to seee if I was paid and I wasn't. I email them and they said they weren't going to pay because I didn't complete the survey. I explained to them what happened and they said no they ain't going to pay. I asked to have a manager call me and she did I explained it again. She said a lot people had this problem and called and they resent a link to them. Why am I expected to do their job? My survey said complete, it was up to them to call me or email me if something was wrong. I am very disappointed with Biofortis. I guess I see why the employees their don't last.

Been going to the original location since 2015, love the new location and as always the staff was SUPER kind and friendly. This is a great way to make extra money. The taste testings are great for quick same day cash. And the larger studies pay very well for little work. You are paid with a cash card that can easily be loaded into Amazon or Venmo.

Never again. Save your time and save your dignity. This place lied to me and cheated me out of time and money, and when I pushed them on it, they literally laughed and offered me “a breakfast bar.” I wasted 3 hours plus an hour of gas money for a study that they then refused to enroll me in or pay for, even though I was told on phone I was already qualified. The phone call setting it up, the guy lied to me to get me there and lied answering specific questions when I was apprehensive about his answers, and then when I did come they would not own those lies and basically fat shamed me by telling me I weighed too much for the study — again, even though i had specifically asked about that. I’m fed up. I took an entire morning off of work for this and I will never again waste my time with them, and you shouldn’t either.

This is my favorite clinical study / taste test / focus group / product testing company, by far, in the Chicagoland area. Since you're working with medically mindful people, it feels very professional and safe, especially during the pandemic. You name it. If I qualified, I've done it: supplements, fad diets, desserts, snacks, paper towels, plant-based meat alternatives, just to name a few. If you're in one of the more extensive studies, they have dieticians and doctors on staff to monitor your vitals and other conditions. You're in good hands. The pick-ups for product testing are pretty efficient and most taste tests take less than 30 minutes. I like the setup for the tastings, too. You kind of have your own little cubicle and the food is passed through a sliding door. At this time, contact with others is pretty minimal, they do a decent job of social distancing, and masks are still required. The only thing that's not my favorite is that you get paid by a debit card that gets loaded with funds and that can sometimes take a few business days.
