I took my 2007 Chevy Suburban here due to low oil pressure problems I had, I was constantly losing oil due to a rear main seal leak, I also had a rough idle, and my car would shake when not in motion due to lifters, springs, and other engine parts being old, corroded, and damaged. Juan went above and beyond, took the entire engine apart to repair everything. It's been over 2 weeks since the repairs, I've driven over 1500 miles and my truck is feeling newer than ever, its running super smooth, and not a drop of oil in sight. Thanks Juan!

I brought my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP for the first time to JP Auto Repair Service. The engine was leaking oil, overheating and cylinders misfiring. Since the car was 15 years old and had 190,000 miles on it I was unsure if anything could be done to fix it. I was expecting the worse. However, after a detailed analysis, the shop owner, Juan Perez, identified the problems and reassured me he could fix and at a reasonable price. The head and oil pan gaskets were replaced, valve seals replaced, cylinders resurfaced along with other much needed repairs. I received my car back a week and half ago and runs perfectly. It is like a new car and I couldn't be any happier. Anyone needing automotive work completed I strongly recommend JP Auto Repair Service. Thank you,Juan! I really appreciate everything.Service: Engine repair

Juan at JP Auto has done three major repairs on my 2003 Camry in the last six months and I couldn't be happier. He'll diagnose the problem quickly, give you a fair price on the work and get the job done quickly. With 250K+ miles on my car it's only a matter of time before something else happens and when it does it's off to see Juan again. Thanks, Juan!Services: General repairs & maintenance

First of all, this place is tucked down an alleyway, so if you use Waze or anything, it'll take you to a dead-end in a parallel neighborhood. It is weird, but that's just how it pulls up. You will be able to find it, just give them a call and they will direct you about 2 minutes nearby. I needed some exhaust work done in a pinch, called them, they said they could take me in, 20 minute later after getting lost and such, the car was up on the lift. The exhaust I purchased even though it was made for the car, had issues with fitment. The only resolution was to cut both flanges and weld the pipes together. Wasn't my favorite idea but I didn't want to ship the exhaust back and deal with a restock fee, etc. I would lose more money that way as it was and on top of it, wanted to hear out it sounded. I was quoted $80 for the labor and materials (despite how little material there was to get worked with..), and while it wasn't the best price in the world, the two workers I initially dealt with seemed to know their trade and I figured again, to save the hassle on shipping the exhaust back, restock fee, then wait for another exhaust... just wasn't worth it. So I accepted. They completed the work in under 20 minutes. It sounded great. Funny thing was, the owner came by in the middle of the fabrication work and was the one that finished welding the pipes together. When he was done, I was paying him the $80 dollars and he said,"okay man, let me get you change." (I think they are cash only) The owner was going to operate for me at a lower price. Imagine that. What a good guy - not sure if his employee was trying to rip me off or if the owner just wanted to cut me a deal, either way- I appreciated it from his end and told him that I was honest and that the other guy quoted me $80.00 so he could keep it, he thanked me and likewise, and about 45 minutes, I was already heading home. Overall, great guys, not sure about again the amount I paid, I will just chalk it up as "it could have been better, but definitely could have been worse." Would I come here again? Yes. They are a diamond in the rough.

Hi tech auto repair is where you should take your car. I had taken my car to my regular repair shop whom I have been going to for many years and blindly trusted. Some of my family members and friends had their reservations about the honesty of CATS Auto Repair of Schaumburg, so when confronted with a surprise $3700 repair job after a routine oil change appointment, I wisely went for a second opinion at high Tech auto. To my delight the professionalism and honesty of this facility save me $3700 because there was nothing wrong with my car, (outside of needing new windshield wipers...$35). The owner was very disappointed in what happened to me because the integrity of the auto repair business means a great deal to him. He was furious about what, almost, happened to me and was there for me all the way through the tears. Thanks guys!

I have been going here for about a year now after the mechanic I had been going to for 20 years started going downhill. These guys are great. They are friendly and honest. The prices are right in-line with what I was paying for service elsewhere, but now I am confident the job is done right. I just took my wife's Jeep in for a check engine light that needed to get fixed before I took her car for emissions. They not only fixed the problem quickly but also took the car for the emissions test so everything was done when I picked it up. I would highly recommend Blonda's and will not be going anywhere else anytime soon.

Why go anyplace else? I never will again!! They were so honest the first time I took it in and did a 'quick fix' for me to get me through until I could get the time and money together for a whole new muffler. I took my car in the first time and what I thought was a muffler problem was only a pinhole leak in one of the pipes. They said the muffler didn't need to be replaced at that time, but it would soon. They did a quick fix for me to the pinhole leak, enough to quiet the beast down and get me running again. Fast forward to A YEAR (yes, their 'quick fix' lasted over a year) and I went to them for the muffler. After being so honest with me and so reliable, of course I am going to go back again and again. Any of my cars need work, this is where you'll HEAR me heading!! Very honest and respectful there, give them a chance people!

Finding a great auto repair shop is just as hard as finding a good dentist! Having said that, Hi tech auto is hands down the best auto repair shop around! John Hickey, the owner sets the tone by going "above and beyond" to offer exceptional customer service! He provided me a very thorough comprehensive check then reviewed all his findings offering me his honest recommendations. John took the time to explain everything & answered all of my questions. I was given options by prioritizing what needed to be addressed now and informed on what could wait and given a time frame on those needed items. John truly cares about his customers and IT SHOWS!! If you are looking for an honest auto repair shop, look no further!!

Blonda's automotive has been my choice of mechanics for a few years. I became a loyal customer when I brought my car in to get a second opinion because something didn't sound right in the first very expensive diagnostic check I had done. The team was incredibly honest and helpful. They will tell you what needs to be done and what can wait. The mechanics are also very nice and easy to work with. In the past, sadly, being female working with mechanics the cliche has proven to be true - you get taken advantage of. Not at Blonda's. They will look out for you. They are more concerned with creating a good relationship, a loyal customer, then getting a few extra dollars out of you on one visit.

This place really can't be beat. It's been several years since I started coming here, so I wanted to update my review. I used to work right around the corner and they would give me rides to work and pick me up when my car was finished, which made getting my car repaired rather easy. When I started working and living farther away, it made it difficult. But even though I now live and work in Chicago, I take time off and arrange for rides from friends so that I can get my car repaired by guys who are going to do it right and won't feed me a bunch of bull. Having a mechanic you can trust is priceless. The effort to get here and the fact that it is NOT the cheapest place can be daunting. But I have never been disappointed. John and his guys stand behind their work and the parts they use and they don't cut corners. I don't fear for my safety when they've worked on my car. And I never feel ripped off or pressured into unnecessary repairs. In fact, John will be straight up with me when something isnt working but really isnt crucial, and he lets me know if a repair can wait, and prepares me for potential upcoming needs. They have an auto credit card now, too...in case you need to finance your repairs...which is very helpful. Serious bonus, I love seeing John's dog Sonny Boy when I come in and having chats with him and his wife. This is not the type of establishment where you are just another face/car/dollar sign. I really feel like the Hickey's are a trusted part of my family. I hope to God John outlives me and never decides to retire because I don't know what I would do without this place! I have tried finding dependable car care closer to me and have been burned. I will keep coming to Hi Tech as long as I'm driving, and as long as I can make it out to Addison, even if it means paying a little more for a tow or an uber home.

My Mercedes required a 13 hr job and I knew exactly what it needed so I called around looking for quotes. Blonda's was the only one whose owner, Vince, was genuinely concerned this job was actually needed in my vehicle. He wanted to do an assessment first and once confirmed, wanted to make sure he was going to be present during the entire process. Pictures were taken at every phase. These mechanics are thorough and truly care about your car. They are honest and fair. I was very impressed. This was like open heart surgery on my car and knew I left my car with the right people. I highly recommend Blonda's for any car issues. This is my place from now on. Thank you, Vince and Bla

This place is a hidden gem. Jonathan did a great job on my car. Got a new muffler and tailpipe for $100. A fraction of the cost a major chain would've charged. They don't mess around trying to up charge you, they show you exactly what's wrong and take care of it. Not only that but they are very fast. Definitely will be back in the future!
