This Post Office is horrible. They have nothing but rude, angry people working the counters. The manager patricia is an absolute nightmare. She's running this place into the ground....

I was there today to ask some questions about passport application which got lost in the system and was unable to print. I was told there to go to local post office to help me find answers what to do or get new application to submit it again in person. I wanted just info. I was waiting 20 min for older hispanic lady who spoke also spanish and she was extremely rude, didn’t want to help to find solution at all. I will never go there again and lady should be fired for her mean attitude.

Worst service ever. Missing mails , long waiting time. Opens late, when we enquire about the informed mails that are missing their reply is informed n mails are not supposed to deliver on the day it is about mails coming two weeks later 🤔, delivers to wrong addresses as well. Very rude to customers would not recommend.

Always long wait time. The attendent once failed to mention to us an important step while we were submitting passport documents. My packages always say they wont deliver due to some excuse that is not valid. I try my best to avoid this location.

Yesterday, I witnessed one of the most unprofessional displays of customer service I’ve ever seen at a post office.
It began when the front desk—normally staffed—was left unattended for over 10 minutes. The service bell rang several times before anyone even acknowledged it. Eventually, someone yelled from the back—more like a shout than a greeting—which was the first indication that staff were even present.
When the clerk (an older African American woman) finally came out, she approached the counter and stared at the first customer in line without saying a word. Not a greeting, not a question—just an icy, silent glare. The tension was thick enough that the man finally asked, “Are you going to help me, or just stare at me?”
Rather than respond professionally, she dismissed him entirely, told him to wait for a supervisor, and moved on to call me up next—skipping over him without cause. She repeated this with the customer who came in after me as well.
The man quietly tried to advocate for himself, ringing the bell again to request help from the supervisor. At this point, the clerk snatched the bell from the counter, insulted him directly by calling him a “bum,” and continued with rude and demeaning comments. Even after multiple requests, she refused to involve a supervisor.
Eventually, the commotion prompted the supervisor (a middle-aged African American man) to emerge from the back. He asked the customer what he needed, took a slip from him, went into the back, and returned with the man’s package—resolving the issue in under a minute.
This entire ordeal could have—and should have—been handled with basic professionalism and respect from the beginning. The way this customer was treated was degrading and unacceptable, and I left deeply disappointed by what I witnessed.
Unless serious changes are made to how this branch operates, I would strongly discourage anyone from relying on this location for their postal needs.

On 5/29/25, I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the woman attending the counter. She was not only rude to multiple customers, but when it was my turn, she used a harsh tone and carried herself with a very negative attitude. She continued having side conversations in her headphones and whispering complaints about her job.Completely unprofessional behavior, especially in a neighborhood known for its quality service. It’s disappointing to see someone with such a poor attitude interacting with customers daily. If she doesn’t want to be in that position, she shouldn’t be there. I truly hope management considers addressing this issue.

They’re closing before their posted hours. They’ve always closed at 6. Went in at 4:30 and the lady was yelling at everyone to get out because they’re closed. Put a sign on the door or something. It’s not that hard.

I’ve never had an unpleasant experience at a USPS—until visiting this location today. Denise at the front counter informed me that she couldn’t provide a receipt for the items I was mailing because I’m not from Addison. Mind you, I’ve used this location before, as it’s on my route home, and I’ve always received a receipt without any issue. Denise was quite unpleasant, despite the fact that my packages were already labeled. I simply needed a receipt to confirm the weights of my boxes.
It’s disappointing that USPS would implement such a change without posting any notice online or at the premises. Very disappointed by this USPS location.
