Makenzie Algonquin Commons was so unkind. first she accused me of stealing alcohol pads when I was putting money in my pockets. Secondly i asked to get a ear piercing but she said you have to book an appointment. Then when I read the policy and talked to my daughter about it. Makenzie started to talk to me and said that she heard what we were talking about and in my thoughts she was basically eavesdropping so she also said that she does not feel comfortable and will not pierce my ears so she asked us to leave. I am never going there as long as she's working if I could give her negative stars I will

My brother wanted to pierce his ears for his 17th birthday. My brother picked to get them at Claire’s. Yesterday, June 5th was his birthday. My mother was there with him to get the piercing consent. The worker seemed like the manager; White woman medium build with thick black hair seem to be in her 40’s. My mother uses her license as verification and the worker refused claiming that it’s not a valid ID. Even though, she uses it for TSA and she used it for Woodfield Claire’s. The woman had racist undertones and even attempted to argue with a minor, my younger brother who was just 17. She refused to help them was very rude and had a rude attitude. I put a review but it immediately got deleted. This is unacceptable in this day and age. Update: My brother was able to pierce his ears in WOODFIELD Claire’s with no problems nor questioning of my mother’s identity. It’s sad how bias this woman was based on the fact that my family are Brown Latinos and my mother is an immigrant. Do better.

I went to clairs on last week Friday to get my ear lobes pierced.Amanda was absolutely fantastic. She was on top of her game and she answered all questions and did the piercings awesome. I will recommend your store to others . You need to hire more people like her. Keep up the great work.

Wish I could give a review on the store but their hours posted on Google and on the actual Clair’s website are not the actual store hours. Drove 25 mins for nothing. Definitely won’t be returning to this store

Went in yesterday and witnessed the absolute worst piercing ever. It was done on a young girl. The joke of a manager who was doing it screwed up so badly on one ear. She noticed her mistake, didn’t apologize once and ran away to the back of the store like a coward. She then only came out because the other employee there went to get her. Then she had an attitude because the mother of the child was upset. Claire’s really needs to stop with the ear piercing. So sad and unprofessional.

If I can do a zero star I would. My daughter went in for her 3rd piercing only for it to go horrible. They somehow pierced her cartilage. The manager was defensive, argumentative and downright rude. My daughter is 11. I'm trying to get involved with corporate.

Would never recommend this place to anyone after spending 130 dollars on a piecing that ended up getting infected because it was pierced wrong!
