March 21st I called, the lady on the phone told me to text her before and after pictures of what I wanted for my hair cut. She also told me to text her so we can figure out a time for me to come in. It is now. April 16th and I did finally get an appointment—yes! Lets See How it goes! 😃👍💯

Do NOT book. I’m a busy professional and just recently relocated to this area. I was looking for a salon in my area and ran across this one. Booked an appointment for a cut on 22 August at 1. A few hours before my appointment I was contacted by them and told they had to cancel me. Obviously I was upset, but things happen and so I gave them grace. I rebooked for the 27th and sure enough was cancelled again on the same day. This was two totally different stylists. The 2nd stylist (Mariah) had me send a pic of my hair (just a few hours before the appointment) to tell me she doesn’t know how to use clippers. I told her my hair is scissor cut and clippers are to clean my neck and edges. But…she cancelled on me just a few hours prior anyways. I just don’t understand why we wait until the day of to cancel? I had to rearrange my work schedule both days.
Don’t contact the owner to complain. I did and never heard a word from her. A shame really. They may be talented but they have poor business practices

I was extremely pleased with my salon visit today. Mariah Campbell did a phenomenal job with my two strand twists. I will be rocking my two strand twists for at least a month or two. I truly love how my hair looks. Thanks Mariah.

My sister and I both got our curls cut here and we loved our cuts and experience! I booked with Yiasa and my sister booked with Mariah. Both ladies are sooo sweet and great at cutting curly hair. This was the first time I left a salon feeling so happy and confident in the results. I definitely recommend this salon!

Be careful letting Yiasa do your child’s hair. She chopped off my daughter’s hair after her dad took her there for an appointment. Instead of a trim in stages, her hair was cut completely uneven. Not a good flat iron either. First pic how she looked two days before the appointment and now two days after appointment. Pictures don’t lie.

I booked with Mariah and she was the best. I was very emotional about my natural hair and my history with it and she handled it and me very professionally. I appreciate her willingness to work with me and my hair to ensure I was happy when I left. Great atmosphere and overall, highly recommend.

Everytime I've made an appointment they've been kind and courteous. Prices are extremely fair, they have constantly made time for my busy schedule to fit me in. For my wedding they cleaned me up braided my dreads everything was on point. I had so many compliments, a year and a half ago I cut off my dreads and and sort of lost my identity but Courtney Young, one of the stylists spend 6 and 1/2 hours reattaching them made them look better than ever. The culture in the atmosphere in the salon is relaxing and laid back. I will continue to use Donna Lowe's.

I hate giving negative reviews, but I have to air out my frustration somewhere. I am a new client having moved here from DFW. I have a super tight schedule with my job and my physical training regimen. I booked an appointment weeks in advanced for one of the only days that I am free. My appointment was canceled and moved to another day. Now I fully understand that things come up and appointments may need to be moved around. That is perfectly fine, but to just move the appointment without any effort to contact me or communicate with me is wild. The day that the appointment was moved to would not work for me, hence why I booked it on the day that I did. Then when I try to go in and rebook, theres no freaking spots for another month. Then when I try calling I can't get in touch with anyone. I hear this is a great salon and I am sure this may just be a one off situaion but still extremely frustrating.

My son and I came in for a loc retwist and cut. The stylist, Tea, was a traveling stylist who I found on IG. I loved her work and found out she would be in the Chicagoland area. So booked both appointments with her. The locs were tight and my son’s cut was very nice. She knows what she’s doing for sure. I’ll definitely be scheduling with her again.

Kate did an amazing job on my hair I love how she keep checking in with me about the length and very easy to talk too. Amazing 10/10 all around for Kate McNamara. Highly recommend all curly girlies to go to her, best work ever!

Mariah did a great job on my hair. Shop was very comfortable if I wasn’t visiting this would be my home shop! The owner is very pleasant as well! Very nice atmosphere!

My first time coming to Donna Lowe Salon. I went in to make an appointment to get my hair done. The hair styles Myle was very friendly and helpful. My appointment was set up in a few minutes. I got my hair done that day as walk-in as well by Mariah and my hair looks beautiful. ????to the team @ Donna Lowe Salon. The experience was very good. Got my daughter hair braided, it was her first time in a salon. Mariah did a great job braiding her hair. She was kind, nice and very good. I didn’t have beads for my daughter hair and they had them there and she put the beads on my daughter braids. Very good customer service and awesome atmosphere. I’ve found my baby girls new hair stylist. Highly recommend
