I went to Home Depot to get information on a sander. Asked someone at the counter if they could send someone to help me. They called someone over the intercom. I received no help after waiting for someone in isle 13/14 for about 10 minuets. That’s when I decided to go to Lowe’s. I got the Help right away.

Usually drivers call when their a half an hour out from your house for a pickup. The women I talked to at home depot before the pickup told me the driver would call me prior to coming out. Also told me the time between 6am and 12noon and that they "wouldn't just show up", well that's exactly what happened. Showed up at the house at 630am, then called at 630am to say I'm here, So I had a rude awakening.
Theirs something wrong with the new generation, flat out dumb.

Had a simple problem with an online order which a capable manger would have been able to solve easily; instead I got an assistant manager named Josh who presented himself as the store manager ( lied ) and aggravated the situation - after over two decades of being a loyal customer sadly I won’t comeback to that store and Josh said he couldn’t care less

I purchased 2 Bali solar shades in April of 2024, and had them installed on May 8th. The Home Depot subcontractor told me the clips that came with it wouldn't work for this installation, and he would order new clips, that hold the shade in place when it is windy. I waited 2 weeks, didn't receive anything. Went to the flooring department to inquire to see if clips had been ordered ,and was dealing with a wonderful employee, named Joy. She checked, and found no record of the order. She then contacted the consumer department at Bali to see if they could provide a solution. As I sat there waiting while we were on hold with the company for over 15 minutes, other shoppers came and asked her questions. She was very courteous and helpful with them. I want to say I really enjoyed my experience dealing with her. She really spent alot of time with me to find the solution to my problem. Store #1940, Algonquin Illinois.

Let me just say this Home Depot has not failed me once. Got many items here and use their inventory and contractors on the regular. If you have a Home, Home Depot has not failed me once in my homeowners needs, on the fly, and cheaper than all competitors. Please stay like this. We need you in this economy
