I have to say John provided great service and was very informative on the whole repair process. He also explained to me the new vault rewards program that Kay Jewelers has started. Overall had a great experience with Kay Jewelers.

John was very helpful and informative with us today. He was extremely patient and took his time showing us different options while we decided which item was the best gift for our loved one. Much better customer service than other locations I’ve been to.

Horrible customer service. Had ring customized at a location that is now closed. Kays say their systems are linked. NOT TRUE. So I asked the girl what have they been checking each time I bring it in for inspection. She said they just click on it...yet she said she can't find the item...which is it??????? Bunch of bull. She was rude. Will have to take to another location, that ACTUALLY knows how to work the system, and knows their job.We have switched to awesome reps at Zales!!

I do not recommend Kay jewelers in Algonquin. Unfriendly, made me wait and I was the only customer. Strange odor in the store that was very unappealing. Marijuana odor to be exact.

Went in yesterday to get my ring fixed. I purchased a warranty plan back when I got the ring. The stones have continuously fallen out. When I walked in the door with a smile on my face I was immediately asked if I have been keeping up with my inspections from across the store. No polite greeting. When the representative came over to me I explained my situation. I shared I just recently got my ring inspected (a month or two ago) nd it was broken again.His next question was, is 2019 the last time you got an inspection. He completely acted like I had lied about when I got my ring inspected (which a criteria to keep the warranty active). I offered to show proof of my recent inspection in Texas and was met with disdain. The rep refused to look at my email and told me everyone has emails. What does that even mean? He went to go talk to his colleague (or maybe the manager). It appeared that they were not finding my account. I offered to show him the email again. He says ma'am completely interrupting me. His manager or colleague told me he was just "doing his job." Then he said Jesus Christ under his breath, rolled his eyes at me and was so rude. He eventually found my account and proof I got my inspection. Clearly this was incompetence on his end and not mine. No apology for being rude or scoffing at me. He asked me "what do you want done with this ring," again super rude tone. I asked to have the ring rodium dipped. He tried to convince me not to and again said Jesus Christ under his breath because I requested it to be done. When I thanked him for finally completely my request he didn't acknowledge me and moved on to the next customer. I will never go to this Kay once I get my rings back. Since when is this acceptable customer service?

Came into the store and it was very busy, my partner and I waited a while for help and were acknowledged but told they had to help the people who walked in first. After a while they started helping people who came in after us. We were agitated but stayed until we were purposefully ignored. Woman came in and was told that they had to help us first, to which the woman replied, “My husband is waiting in the car?” I guess her husband is more important because we were promptly ignored and they started helping Karen instead. Horrible customer service, unless you look old and rich don’t even think about being helped here.

Terrible service!!! Went in for a cleaning and inspection and they were helping everyone who came in after me but not me. I usually don’t write bad reviews but I was in there for 20 minutes with staff telling me they would come back multiple times but never did.

Took my ring in for inspection at the Algonquin location. John, the store manager was friendly and thorough. Overall, very happy with my experience.

I never leave reviews, but this specific store and the whole company are incompetent. Beware of this store selling fixed items as new, checked them well before buying. Had to go three times because their staff dont know how to do their job, ended up returning the item and when complained to the company about a price matching explaining the whole situation to 5 different agents they said there is nothing they could do.
