I bought a Pentair VS Pool Pump online from Leslie and within a year it has an error code 000F. They don’t want to stand by the warranty or product past the sale date. They will force you to call the manufacturer and deal with the manufacturer. They don’t stand behind anything they sell. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING OTHER THAN CHEMICALS FROM THIS BUSINESS. YOU WILL REGRET IT! ANY OTHER COMPANY WOULD STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCT AND RESOLVE IT UNDER THE WARRANTY PERIOD. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT REQUIRES A WARRANTY FROM THEM.

I had been a long time customer but recently have had several bad experiences and have lost faith in their “expertise”.
Their own online info says the power powder plus can increase the pH but several in store employees and online employee insist it doesn’t increase the pH. So who is right?
Edit: Finally an online rep confirmed what I was saying and even sent me an email that says it can raise pH.
Also I asked serval times what the difference is between the power powder plus, power powder 73, and power powder pro. Online shows the same product info. They will not or cannot answer me when I send emails about this. They just send me a link to their blog that only describes the differences between power powder plus 73, chlor bite, and fresh and clear.
Edit: After numerous emails and after showing my frustration, they finally answered me but the difference are so small.

Water testing is great. Prices on the high end. But nice to speak to a human being about my pool.

Aside from the fact that they always seem to be out of stock on commonly used items like chlorine, shock and test strips. Sometimes they have an alternative but it’s usually an expensive large bucket that I didn’t plan to buy. Today, I had the pleasure of showing up and the computers were down, so the associate told me I wasn’t getting my 15% off coupon on my $225 purchase. Not sure why it’s so hard to calculate 225 (price) x .85 (15% off) then x 1.08 (sales tax) to figure out what the total is?! Do they not teach these basic math skills anymore? I left there extremely agitated because it seems it’s never a simple visit. It’s always something. But that’s par for the course. A pool specialty store that is always out of stock or doing things like this. Figure it out.

Sold us $90 in pool chemicals we did not need to fix the problem, which it didn't and made the pool worse. Went to Great escape in Algonquin fixed for a few dollars, simple.Avoid them if you can.
