Your drive through design In Algonquin is horrible. If you have a car avoid the drive through and go inside. I am not upset sitting at the drive through as the 2 men chit chatted with each other for a few minutes as I eagerly wait to be noticed. Then one appeared to be working on something and the other was making small talk to another car next to me for another for 2-3 minutes.. I heard the whole conversation. Since it was my first time at any US Bank the cylinder had to go back and forth to both several times before my transaction was completed since you cant hear what they are saying/asking for through the speaker between the load screeching noise when he turned the speaker on and the muffed voice coming out of the speaker. I watched every car that pulled out of the drive through around me hit the curb with the back tire that separates the drive through lanes. You have to turn your wheel since there is another concrete median in front of you to prevent drivers going into the drive through the wrong way. I too hit the cement curb pulling out on the rear driver side of my car and heard an awful CRUNCH. Seriously I am beyond upset and pissed over this. Your drive through arrangement with the cement in front of you and on each side of you is really ridiculous. It actually damaged my car and I can't even put into words how pissed off I am about this. You need to come up with something better or remove the concrete that is in front of the drive through so people are not forced to turn so abruptly and damage their vehicles. It must happen all day long and I am sure I am not the only that it has cause damage to their car. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!! I have a pic of the the drive through I wish I could post.

if you want to be disrespected by staff and humiliated, visit this branch. I had a terrible experience of customer service experience when visiting this location. While at the drive up, Teller Heather yelled through speaker personal account information clear enough for other customers in drive up can hear. There are many ways to verify a customer and asked not to announce my information so loud. The bank representative then proceeded to talk louder and over me, continued to be rude. Heather continued to make comments under her breathe and continued to raise her voice. Heather then sent my payment along with identification back and walked away from the window. I was confused as to why my transaction was returned when information was verified and clear on my request. Moments later another teller appears at window and restarts my transaction. Unbelievable customer service, Just flabbergasted at the behavior experienced by such teller. Poor example of a representative. I have reached out to the branch manager to share feedback from my experience but location yet to hear back. I plan on following up again as this is simply unacceptable.

Had an unfortunate experience with fraud and was left feeling very stressed because of it, thankfully the people here at this branch were very understanding and helpful to get it fixed. They helped me fill out the paperwork and submit the evidence related to the fraud claim, and got my account switched over to a new one with very little interference to my other bills. Brad in particular was very helpful during the whole process. If you need to talk to a banker, I would highly recommend him.

Terrible. I opened an account there at their invitation to receive a bonus. Then, just before the bonus was due, the Algonquin Branch Manager sends me a letter telling me that they had closed the account due to "suspected irregular activity" and that they'd issue a check for the balance within 15 days once "all previously deposited items have been verified." There had been no activity. I just deposited the requisite sum and left it there for months. Ok. Weasly, but I guess that's within your rights to do so. Well, that was Feb. 7. The "items" had been deposited months before, so they've had plenty of time to do their verification. So, a month later, no check. I call "Brad" at the Algonquin branch. He says they waited till 3/3 to cut the check, but promised that I'd get it within 15 business days. Hmmm. Now it's been another 15 business days later. No check. I call Brad back. His confidence and knowledge of the process and the status of the check have dissipated. He now claims ignorance of the check status and incompetence to do anything about it. He transfers me to "Customer Service." After multiple demands to enter my now-nonexistent account number, DOB, and ssn, it finally allows me to talk to "Macie." I'd be lying to fein shock that she's similarly impotent to effect any resolution. She sends an "EMAIL" to a "group" who is supposed to call me to figure out a way to get my check to me. She can't tell me if it will take an hour, a day or a week for me to get that call. Very annoyed and not hopeful for a quick resolution. Considering small claims court. It's a sad day when going through the legal system seems like a viable way to quicken the process of a bank delivering a check. Revision 1 - Another two weeks, another broken promise. I sent the email requested below and someone did call me and got the ball rolling. Then, a couple days later, Brent, the branch manager called me and asked me to prove to them what the source of the money was (huh?) and to present a current ID. I did both the next day - Wed., March 30. Brent was off, but he had arranged for Brad to accept them. Both Brent and Brad promised that Brent would review them and call me yesterday, Monday, April 4, when he got back. I didn't get any call from Brent nor Brad. Sheesh. Finally, two months after closing the account, I got the check for my balance. No bonus, no interest, but at least I got the money I deposited back.

Rudest bank experience of my life today.Went to cash a check. No hello, no nothing. Didn't ask my what I need...Just sent me back with a deposit slip and my ID not returned.I call the teller and explain and she's just like no we can't do that...do what? Can't cash a check? Can't give me my ID back? Then said it wasn't her that did it. Ok I'm not blaming you but you're the one that answered the microphone...Five minutes go by and my money comes over with my license. Absolutely no communication. I sat there for a minute thinking I'd get an exanation, a simple apology and a have a nice day but nothing.Wow...what a shameful representation of US Banks customer service.

Wow. Just received probably my worst customer service from a bank EVER! Really hoping corporate takes a minute to call me. Regional manager going to love this one. I would suggest not asking to speak to Kim or even use her as a banker.

Brett was very proactive in solving an issue that had come up for me.He was professional and knew all the answers, and worked at the solution harder than most bankers I've dealt w/ in the past. Great customer service!

I am a Pakistani national and a resident of Dubai ( U.A.E ) and was visiting my family in Crystal Lake. I thought of opening a local bank account so that it would be easier for me to shop and pay for my expenses while in the US. Somehow, without any recommendations, we took an appointment with the US Bank branch and were 45 minutes late for our meeting. When we entered the branch, the banker with whom we had an appointment was already engaged with another customer so we opted to wait until she would be available. Immediately, the Branch Manager, Mr. Brett approached us and asked us to join him in his room so that he can help us with the account opening process. Our whole experience with him was really great and Brett made us feel so very comfortable and clearly guided us on the account opening process and within 20 minutes, we are all set to go with our new account, temporary debit card and the online/ app access. Brett is a wonderful person and is a peoples' person as well. He is very kind and we came to know during our discussion that he is a foody also and appreciates food from around the world :-) . I would definitely recommend all my friends visiting Crystal lake or surroundings that if they wish to open a bank account then US Bank is definitely the bank they need to do it with and Brett is the person they need to connect with. I am an executive working for a multinational company based in Dubai and i have dealt with various world class bankers around the world and i must say that the way we were dealt with by Brett was second to none. I am very happy that I was able to connect with Brett and would recommend all to do so as well if they wish to get great service and connect with a caring Banker ! Kudos US Bank and Kudos Brett !!! God bless you.

The lady at the drive-through today(9/3) Was extremely rude. I was told to pull up to the commercial Lane to get a document notarized even though it said closed. She gave me a nasty smirk and told me at ATM only and wouldn’t even let me explain why I was there.I went up to the other drive-through lane a few minutes later and I got her again and she didn’t even apologize and what she was even More obnoxious.Way to have a great friendly customer service! More reasons I do not like banking with U.S. Bank
