  Made an appointment for a passport and waited a week. I was signed up for notifications. Took a day off work to get this done and they told me the appointment was canceled with no notification. KIM EATON was the manager and did not take the time to phone anyone about the cancelation. Horrible customer service, do not go here for passports, they did not care about wasting customers time.

  Jams boxes in mailbox!! Lazy mailman. Then say they delivered packages in mailbox but never did and too big for mailbox. Never gets out of truck. Lazy!!! I call and complain and no help......

  Ivan at this location is extremely rude, disrespectful, short tempered and inexcusable for his behavior. I am amazed of his condescending attitude while having an attitude with hispanic people, including myself and the person in front of me. Though, when speaking with white people his behavior is communicative, professional and patient. To add more insult he is Hispanic, terrible to say. I asked to speak with his supervisor, his reply is that I dont need to get one. I believe he treats all Hispanics in a disrespectful condescending manner and this type of behavior should be addressed.

  Was supposed to be open at 8:30am. Workers were in the back but wouldn't open until 10am!!! Ignored all 15 customers waiting in line. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!

  Showed up on time for passport appointment..its almost been an hour after my appointment time...and I am still waiting.. Don't go to Algonquin post office..they don't adhere to appointments at all!!

  Scheduled a passport application appointment several weeks in advance. When we arrived and stood in line for 10 minutes we were told that their camera was broken and we would have to run out to get that done and return within 45 min because the “passport guy” only worked until 2. They treated us like we should have known the camera was broken. Needless to say we left and went to the local library to complete the process.

  Their general 2.4 rating review says it all. Employees act the behavior that they are from royal family and see the clients like poor who can’t afford any next day delivery. They are mean, pathetic and arrogant

  My personal experience with the Algonquin Post Office is is that the overall atmosphere is horrible. From the management down to the employees. Employees typically model behaviors that they see from higher ups. Starting with management, Giovanni and Julie are the two unprofessional and inappropriate staff I have unfortunately had to deal with. A supervisor, Julie, calling another supervisor after hours 9pm to discuss personal matters and demanding his partners cell phone # and leaving her messages and a voicemail is extremely unprofessional. Holding a position over an employees head is wrong if they refuse to do what you wish. The language and behavior I witnessed was unprofessional coming from Federal Employees. I am sure the under staffed issue is due to poor management. Due to call offs, staff that do decide to come in have to cover other routes, including theirs. If you live anywhere near the Algonquin Square Apartments (Millbrook/Loren Ct) Your delivery driver could care less if you get your mail on time! You can find him at the apartment complex in the manager Lauren’s office “getting to know each other” since he delivers mail there, according to the both of them. You can find him posted in his work truck, watching inappropriate videos or punching the side of the truck out of anger due to his home life, financial instability and employment issues. Vaping on the job is unprofessional. Going to work early and hiding in an office because you have a hangover is unprofessional.
  
  All these issues were addressed to Human Resources whom only talked to the persons involved. No consequences.
  
  THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE JOKE!!!!! The review of 2.4 says it all.

  The female claimed that they were going to process my change of address form, but apparently what she did instead is put it straight into the garbage with a big smile on her face - although i am certain that she will still expect equal pay, of course.
