“This sweet little shop located on W. Main St. Is a treasure. Not only will you find some great bargains but the most helpful and pleasant staff any where in town. The people that work there are so kind and caring, which is something thats hard to find now a days. They rely on donations so if you have some things your needing to get rid of, Im sure they will be happy to take them off of your hands. Don't miss a chance to visit this shop if your in the area.”

“This was the first vintage clothing store I found in St. Louis and I instantly fell in love. The clothing is predominately 90s or 2000s pieces and everything is amazingly priced. Some pieces are one of a kind and have been painted or resewn to be unique.”

“Great place havent been yet for sunday service but friendly and kind volunteers work there. They have an amazing food pantry for those located within the zip code. They do offer fresh food on Fridays for all. You can go enter your name and they will draw one by one so it's kind of like a lottery. It is first come first serve so be sure to get there early. Starts at 10 but usually takes a bit longer. If you have time they will let you go around a second time. Also a clothing room to look at for items your might need especially for women and children. Have always have a good experience and been treated kindly. Would recommend this place to anyone. The make you feel welcome. This place truly is an example of the scripture Isaiah 58.”

“Community Kindess has come to be my favorite thrift shop in town. Their prices have remained low as inflation rises. They have a large selection of EVERYTHING- clothing, housewares, books, vinyls, an entire room for picture frames alone, and a massive warehouse of all types of furniture.Community Kindness is staffed by very kind and helpful volunteers (I think) who have stayed on staff for some time, I haven't noticed hardly any turnover.I frequent the thrift store for books (only 25 cents a piece right now), picture frames which regularly go on sale, clothing, furniture, and sometimes odds and ends things like glassware for a home bar or hats for painting in. I always find something unique and more than affordable when I visit.”

“You get what you paid for, lb by lb! Pretty fair prices if you ask me. Electronics and such have a different price but everything else goes by weight. Important thing to note is Cash only for furniture. Respectful, kind &helpful employees are a bonus… there is true organization to the chaotic bins of the Goodwill Outlet. You never know what you’ll find!”

“Anyone who complains about the Adult Rehabilitation Center either attended and didn’t like structure and form in their lives paired with the discontentment of being. In other words they weren’t ready to live a normal, sober life. He work the Salvation Army requires is a condition that should be realized as okay because these addicts are getting housing, food, some pay, counseling, support —- all the things needed to induce sobriety. They have lived according to their own will and have gotten nowhere. Their addictions have ruined not only their lives but the lives of their friends, families, employers and probably everyone they have come in contact with.I am addict —- an alcoholic who has accepted the fact that without hard work I won’t remain sober. I suggest quit wining and start working harder. It’s worth it.”
