Operation Blessing of Southwest Chicagoland is a not-for-profit food pantry run by volunteers. It is described as an amazing, inviting, and consistent place where all are welcome. The organization provides much-needed, fresh food to families and also distributes to other local pantries. Reviews highlight the kind, pleasant, very friendly, respectful, and welcoming people there. A notable aspect is the offer of on-site prayer for anyone who is open to it, though faith is never asked about. Clients are treated with dignity, and the service is considered a true blessing, especially during tough economic times. The last client is accepted 15 minutes prior to closing.
Friendly, godly people who are there to help people struggling financially with groceries (and prayer if requested)!
