Had a really rough idle show up on our vehicle. Called A&H and they came out and got the vehicle on a flat bed so I didn’t have to drive it with the condition. They diagnosed it and got it fixed at a fair price. Glad to see the new owners have taken this already great shop and have found good workers in the shop and office. Happy to see another investment into Altamont to where we don’t have to go to Effingham or out of town for quality work. Well done!

We were traveling back home on Hwy 70 and picked up a nail in our tire. We pulled over at the Altamont exit and called A&H. They had us come right in, fixed our tire for a great price. We were back on the hwy in less than an hour. Friendly, wonderful service. Thank you guys!

I can't say enough good stuff about A&H Implement. my family and I were on a road trip from Canada to Oklahoma which is about an 18 hour road trip. about 1/3 of the way through our trip my front driver side window cable snapped and my window rolled down. normally, I would put up with this and trudge on but on December 22nd, 2022 the coldest, windiest and most awful day of the year and with about 9-10 hours of driving left I had to try to fix it. I pulled into an Autozone and bought a temporary plastic window repair kit. I used the 2 sided tape plus half a roll of gorilla tape to secure it to my car, bedamned the paint job and went on my way.. it lasted an hour or so until the intense wind, ripped it to shreds. I could have pulled over and slept in a motel but the weather was supposed to be worse the next day so that was not an option. we had to get through it somehow. I pulled into a hardware store to see if I could buy a piece of plexiglass and tape it to the car but by that point, it was so cold (about -22 degrees) that even the gorilla tape would not stick and was completely useless. at the end of my rope, a kind stranger referred me to A&H. it was about 4:30pm so I did not have much time as nearly everything was closed already for the storm. Mike, the owner took pity on us, dropped everything and helped us patch up our car and get us back on the road again. Thank you so much for your help Mike, you have no idea what it meant to us in our time of need. you kept us safe and warm when we needed it most.

8 hours into a 16 hour drive, I blew a tire in my ‘62 Impala. I called 4 different places trying to find a 15. A&H had 2 options for me when no one else had any. The whole experience, from our initial conversation til the last lug nut went back on, exceeded my expectations. Great prices, great people. 10/10

I usually always get my car done there they changed the oil they do major repairs and they tell they put tires on if you want that have Tire Service I just got my car all repaired today and they were great about it although they've had the car for a few days cuz they been very busy but other than that the price is great they're probably the cheapest around my area and they do a good job so I can't recommend an age probably enough so but a great oral changes they only charge about 30 bucks for an oil change now you know unless you want an air filter

Just terrific service. Sold us a new spare and mounted it for us just terrific help and service! Traveling with a horse trailer can make things tricky and they were very accommodating!

Right now they are breaking the law by keeping me from my stuff and trying to charge me $125.00. This is Lille and I've told them this. I will head there in person if not I'll just call and officer I know and hand this with the owner who is apparently not even living in Springfield. So to anyone who says this is a local business is laying. According to our city. Anyone who works for the city has to live in the city. Why does this no hold true to companies that claim they help the community... the community is where you live not where you set up shop......
