Alton Little Theater is a brilliant and excellent local theatre, known as one of the best. It is a community theater, yet its shows are always so well done and the quality of production is superb. The cast is always amazing and over the top, with wonderful voices. The costumes and set are also over the top. Performances are quite enjoyable and provide a great evening. The sound is good enough that you can hear everything. The workers are great. It is a small venue with just a few seats accessible for those with mobility issues, and the ramp from the parking lot is quite long and steep. The theater's productions are a must-see and do not disappoint, creating an effortless and enjoyable experience for all.
Just saw a second performance at this theater. This was a play read in the lobby. Very cool experience! I felt like a VIP up close and personal woth some very talented folks. The read was called "The Heel" I can't wait to see it on stage!

This is by far one of the best local theatres, all their shows are always so well done. The cast, costumes, and set are always over the top. Cannot believe this is a community theater for the quality of production they put out!

The recent tribute to Bobbie Darin was superb. Mr. Sykes has a wonderful voice to showcase the great hits of that amazing era. Thank you, ALT, for a great evening of song, dance and memories!
