Davie School Inn is a unique and charming hotel created from a converted small school. The owners are amazing, super hospitable, incredibly sweet, welcoming, and extremely helpful, offering great recommendations. The decor is flawless and fitting, leaning into the classroom theme with blackboards, books, a working phonograph, and a record collection.
Each room is large, made from a full classroom, and includes a sleeping area, seating area, dining table, a small kitchenette, and a bathroom with a jetted tub and shower. It is very clean and provides a good room within a cool building. The included breakfast is excellent and delicious every morning, with highlights like baked French toast and seasoned potatoes.
The location in Anna is centrally located for exploring hiking trails, the wine trail, and incredible local food options. Guests describe their stay as perfect, relaxing, and a highlight, highly recommending it for a unique and enjoyable experience.
My husband and I come down so a wine tour for our 22nd wedding anniversary. The Davie School Inn was the perfect place to stay! The room and amenities were great and the breakfast was delicious!
