Great experience at USPS office in antioch, IL today. Employee working the counter was named Walter- he was friendly, fast, very knowledgeable and helpful.
The customer before me had an involved story about delivery problems and was told to come into the office. Walter was patient , listened carefully and very nicely redirected the customer to call a nearby office where the letter carriers were dispatched from and then He wrote down name and phone number. Great service.
He handled my parcel quickly and was happy to price compare 2 options. Also great service.

Mail is always late or nondelivered or delivered to wrong houses . My poor neighbors routinely bring me my mail from their boxes . I have plenty of missing pieces and can only guess people are tired of bringing it over and over . Get qualified people to work not dei hirings . Our normal guy is fine but if he gets a day off forget it . Hire Qualified Staff !!!!

Clerk was kind of rude, and told me they don't deliver packages from that branch, so I had to go to the Lake Villa branch just to find out an item that cost me 30 DOLLARS had been lost in the mail (I'm a broke college student). Unbelievably disappointing - I have had ZERO issues with USPS before this, but they really dropped the ball this time.

They seem to really enjoy messing up basic tasks and their mailing machine that allows me to properly mail items wasn’t working then it was updating

Tried sending a return package back and the staff was not helpful what so ever. Very rude customer service. Their hours say open til 4:30 but there was talk of them closing early from staff behind the counter. I’ve been to other post offices with helpful and friendly staff. That was not the case for this location! Do better!

If you want to pick up or drop off mail it works here. Anything more complicated than that they cannot address it seems. I feel like they are playing kick the can down the road and I am the can. Asking about a missing package, I was told to call another post office. They have the ability to do that, they have something called customer service. They choose not to do it or utilize it. I choose not to support the USPS in return.

Pathetic. They "attempted to deliver" 4+ packages to my house and said they weren't able to because there was "no secure location". I live in a stand alone house with its own mailbox and a sizable porch, where many other packages have been delivered with no issues. They said I would have to come to their office to pick up the packages instead, even though they clearly never attempted to deliver any (and I don't have a car. I cannot and will not do their job for them). I also have not received a shred of mail since moving in (weeks ago, mind you) and have no proof to update my driver's license. DO NOT get sensitive info (passports, etc) mailed in Antioch or you will never receive them. My advice is to send to Gurnee or another neighboring town where the staff is not lazy. Good on Gurnee USPS for actually putting our tax dollars to good use!

Fantastic, efficient service from the workers at this location! Very friendly and able to get through the line perfectly. The layout is a little clunky, but it is a small post office.

Can’t stand the people who deliver my mail, first of all they put my neighbors mail in my box constantly, My mail always comes super late after it’s been mailed to me, always comes almost completely DAMAGED /bent or in this case completely ripped open. My packages are never delivered to my door, so higher risk of them getting stolen especially around here. Only giving two stars bc when I deal with the people inside while shipping things out, they are always very pleasant.
