Store clerk was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was sarcastic and harsh which was the reason for the review. Having feet problems is difficult enough without a an abrasive employee.

I made an appointment with Jeff after finding this store online. I have terrible plantar fasciitis and fallen arches; I also have larger than average feet. I wore out a pair of Dansko clogs in less than a year. In an hour, I walked out with four pairs of shoes. Jeff's attention to detail and anticipation of my footwear needs made this the shortest and smoothest shoe shopping trip in my whole life! I'll definitely be back for warm weather shoes!

I've been to this store twice. Once to buy shoes for my daughters wedding 10 years ago and few weeks ago to get shoes for 3 weddings and a shower that I needed to attend. Finding shoes that are comfortable enough for my many foot problems and acceptable for fancy occasions is not an easy task. Jeff showed me several options and I ended up buying 2 pairs that have worked out quite well. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Inferior quality shoes. You can find shoes with the same features for $80-100 cheaper at DSW or Amazon

Visiting from out of state I searched for a shoe store with personalized customer service to find a correctly fitting and comfortable shoe to deal with several foot and leg issues. I called for appt and met with Jeff who methodically, professionally and very patiently worked through each of my concerns to find the best options for me. I am very happy with my purchases and grateful for his time and knowledge. I will be back. Thank you, Jeff!!

Employees are good but the prices are outrageous for men's shoes at least. Do yourself a favor and shop around and save yourself not just a little but a lot of money. New Balance men's shoes are overpriced here.

They do everything right here! Service is awesome, so knowledgeable about many brands. Have worked with Jeff several times, including today. Other staff have been helpful in the past.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT so that you will have the undivided attention of a staff member. Sit back, try on shoes, and leave with happy feet. Also, in my case, happy knees!

Went for a fitting with Karen. She showed me several options for dress and casual shoes. She had me walk and stand on a machine to show the pressure points on my feet. Very informative and helpful. You won't find any bargains here, but you will get good fitting shoes that won't hurt your feet.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I am in desperate need of new shoes that fit properly, and Ahh Comfort was suggested to me as a good starting place to find my not-so-common size. I was looking at the selection before I was approached and told it would be about 20 minutes before anyone could assist me with trying shoes on and to put any ones I like on a chair so I didn't have to carry them around. This was fine with me as I was still perusing the selection. By the time I was approached again, I had selected 1 pair off the clearance shelf and about 5 others to try on. Jeffrey looks at my selection with a raised eyebrow and says "these are dress shoes". I said, " I know. I am required to wear a suit and dress shoes for work". He then rolls his eyes and goes "uh huh". I sit down in the chair and tell him a gentleman who creates custom orthotics told me my size and what brands will likely have my size. Jeffrey then says "can you, like, wear these shoes". I said, "yes, I picked them out for work". Jefferey replies "but what about, like, swelling or whatever" in the most degrading, patronizing tone I think I have ever been spoken to in. I, with a slip-on gym shoe on one foot and a CAM boot on the other, replied with "yes, I can take the boot off my foot and try these shoes on". Even though it doesn't matter as I can clearly wear a shoe on one foot. He then asked me why I am wearing a boot, especially if I am able to take it off to try on a shoe. I replied with an "I broke my foot a few months ago". "Why are you wearing a boot", he asked. "Because I have a broken foot", I said. "Then why are you trying on shoes?", he asked again in a tone you would use on a toddler. "Because I need new, comfortable shoes for work", I replied. "If it has been months, why are you in the boot?". "Because I broke my foot". "Why is it not healed? Do you have a bone density problem that I should know about", he responded in a tone that led me to believe that he thought I was faking a foot that is literally broken in two places. What? Did he actually ask me these questions? It doesn't matter why I need new shoes, why I have a boot on one foot, why my foot is taking a long time to heal, and why I was willing to take the boot off and try shoes on that foot. I was in there to purchase several pairs of shoes, broken foot or not. Nothing else matters. Why the f*** did this b****** believe that he was entitled to my medical information? My medical history is none of anyone's business, especially a retail worker. All that he needed to know was that I was there to buy shoes. Did he also want a medication list? Doctor information? Appointment summary reports? When my next pap smear is? Who the hell does this guy think he is? I did not have work today, so I walked in wearing jeans, a sweater, and a slip-on gym shoe. I bet, if I had walked in wearing my work suit and dress shoes I would have been treated much differently. With my boot half off, I slid my other shoe on, and said "I don't think this is going to work". Jeffrey then rolled his eyes like a child, stood up, aggressively put the shoes in the box, turned his back to me, and said "fine". Who the f*** treats people like this? Especially a customer! A customer willing to drop as much cash as I need to get me some comfortable shoes! As someone who works with the general public, if I even gave an inkling that I was going to treat a customer like this or say these things to anyone, I would be fired on the spot with no questions asked. I guess not everyone has the same set of standards. This was absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable. This incident occurred only 2 hours ago, I am fuming as I write this. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, and I am going to tell the gentleman who recommended this place to me what occurred so he, hopefully, will think twice before recommending this sh*t show. I will never be c

They have a guy there (I'm not kidding, there is a guy) and he was so knowledgeable re: proper shoes for my mom's feet and how to help her. This place is for people who want their feet right so they don't end up like my mom. Nonetheless they were able to recommend a show for her. Now it's my turn. But you have to ask to see the guy--forgot his name, sorry.

Jeff was absolutely incredible to work with. My mom and I came in without an appointment (we didn’t know we needed one, but we’ll be sure to make one for all future stops!) and Jeff graciously took time out of his already busy day to listen, educate and help us beyond anything we thought possible. Ahh Comfort Shoes will be the ONLY place we will go for shoes and orthotics from now on. And we will be sure to tell all of our friends about Jeff and his staff! Thank you!

So happy that someone recommended this store to me. I made an appointment and got the best care possible to get me fitted into new shoes and a new pair of winter boots. This will be the place I go to from now on when I need new shoes.
