I went to Dick's Arlington Heights to buy Nike shoes for my husband's birthday. When I gave him the shoes, he loved them, but on the 5th time wearing them, the eyelet that holds the shoelaces ripped off. I went to return them at Dick's, as I had bought them fewer than two weeks ago, and they had been worn for less than 1 week. The store manager, Sandra, would not accept the return, because the shoes were defective. Dick's Arlington Heights does not expect their products to last longer than a week, and does not care when the products fail. I won't be shopping here again.

Be careful shopping here. Went in to check the value of a gift card. The next morning the entire value was drained in two online purchases four minutes apart. Managers offered zero support in helping me rectify the situation.

Needing 3 pairs of ice skates sharpened, I called for pricing and was quoted $6 and arranged a drop-off. When I got there, they looked up the sku in a binder and reaffirmed the $6 price. Then at the register each pair rang up at $10 so I explained that the price was quoted twice as $6. The clerk summoned the manager who asked me
who I talked to on the phone— irrelevant? She was rude and condescending. They stuck with the $10 price simply saying that the price in the system
is the price. A simple “sorry we made a mistake, can I offer you a small discount” would have been a fine experience. Making me pay almost double because of a binder price difference that they are aware of is criminal. That’s bait and switch. Do better. The only salvation to the experience was a very sweet cashier who looked truly apologetic during the transaction. Thank you to him.

This place is terrible 😕 it's the reason why everyone has turned to online shopping 🛍 The people working there are lazy and 0 help. Don't even know where anything is 😂 I'm only giving it star's for the young man who helped me to my car and loaded it. The rest of that place forget it. I'll never go back.

If you are looking for a Stanley or yeti water bottle, they have doubled their product stock! They share one giant wall & multiple shelves. They literally have every color you can imagine. They are by the cash wrap and then the back left corner of the store. I was AMAZED. I ended up picking a lime green one ☺️

Bought basketball shoes here yesterday. They didn’t have my size in the shoe I wanted. Ben took the time to go to the front of the store and check the size on the mannequin shoes. Turned out to be my size and I bought them. That customer service was above and beyond! Thanks Ben!

Mike was very helpful for selection of bike, he went above and beyond for us to show how to de-assemble and assemble a bike when in need, talked about the right bike rack for our car and also helped us with getting all delivery guidelines and return policy.
Really appreciate all his support.

I went today to get pants and they were priced at 20 dollars and I went to pay and it rang up to 64 dollars and the guy didn’t want to go check so he wanted to charge me the 64 dollars smh 🤦🏻
