El Rey Music has been an Arlington Heights icon since 1947. We provide private instruction for guitar, bass, drums, vocals, keyboard, mandolin, ukulele across all styles and levels. Our knowledgeable instructors are active performers in the Chicago area and have years of experience. At El Rey, we also help our students form their own bands and perform in front of large crowds at local music venues.
My son has been playing guitar with Nahum and ElRey’s staff for about five years. It’s developed into something that gives him a lot of peace of mind and confidence. He can relax and play at home and find enjoyment in that. Or he can play out with bands and get that rush of adrenaline on stage. Highly recommend.

My son has gone to El Rey for the past 6 years, and my husband took guitar there too when he was growing up. Great teachers who let the kids follow their own musical paths. Highly recommend!!
