Honestly the service here has gone downhill since last year. Not sure if it’s towards the female population but I definitely felt discriminated against and will not be going back or recommending this location to anyone. They talk to you like you’re stupid and are all about trying to upsell you. The last oil change here they didn’t even reset my odometer and didn’t look like they topped off my fluids. So disappointing and frustrating.

I purchased expensive ceramic brakes from the Firestone Arlington Heights, IL location and instead they installed poor quality metallic brakes. On day one, all four rims were coated with a good layer of dust and they got worse with every passing day. I took the car back to the same Firestone location and complained. They took the car inside their garage, and from far away, I noticed they only took off the tires and glanced at the brakes. Then they came back stating they are indeed ceramic and there is nothing else they can do. I decided to go to a completely different tire shop to get the brakes inspected. That shop confirmed the brakes are NOT ceramic and provided proof. Therefore, Firestone lied to my face. I will never get brakes from Firestone again as they are dishonest people. It feels as if they are cheating the customers in order to pocket money for and between their technicians. To avoid spending more money, I had to continue driving with the poor quality metallic brakes they installed which continued to throw out dust and make squeaky noises.

Had new battery installed by Firestone 1 month ago. Today the car won’t start so I took it to the dealer. They said the terminals are corroded. Why would Firestone not check that or at the very least offer to clean/replace for an additional fee? Would not recommend.

The worst place to do tires do yourself a da and do it at Walmart. They charge for tire warranty and don’t honor it at all. Flat tire cost dibble Walmarts warranty and.

It is recommended to avoid utilizing the services of Firestone, as they have been reported to cause damage to vehicles and engage in unethical practices. There are allegations of coercing customers into signing documents to absolve the company of responsibility for any harm caused to their vehicles.

I am going to get straight to the point. Do not go to this fire stone, the service is AWFULand the people are dishnoest. 1.) Lied about everything wrong with my car and tires. And told me my 3.5 yes told car was no longer useable because tires are dry rotting
2.) sent pictures of another persons tires.
3.) told me my car didn’t even have a spare tire, when I knew it did.
4.) tires to sell my the most expensive tires and lied about the other types being in stock when they already said they had them.
5.) SLASHED MY TIRE, enough that I could barely make it home.
6.) Didn’t hand me my key, tossed it at me and said bye rolled their eyes and walked away slamming the door.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

For starters, these guys deserve negative stars, but I have to give them 1 to post this.
My recent experience with Firestone in Arlington Heights was nothing short of a nightmare. I initially towed my car in due to concerns about engine performance with my car suddenly breaking down, hoping for a reliable diagnosis and solution. However, what I encountered was a series of frustrating events that highlighted serious issues with their customer service and professionalism.
From the outset, the front desk staff displayed a concerning level of arrogance and dismissiveness. The individual handling my intake seemed more interested in rushing through the process than addressing my concerns. He barely acknowledged my questions and brushed off my inquiries about the diagnostic timeline with vague assurances. It was clear he was more interested in moving onto the next customer than providing me with attentive service.
After leaving my car with them for four days without any updates, I finally received a call informing me of their diagnosis. Initially, they assured me that the engine was in good condition, which was a relief. However, less than a day later, I received another call claiming that my engine needed replacement due to a supposed timing chain issue. This abrupt change in diagnosis left me deeply skeptical and suspicious of their motives.
In addition, after the first four days of no diagnosis of the car, two new mechanics, Paul and Ravi took control of the car. They had no idea what was done before while at the shop for the 4 prior days but insisted that they got it because they are “Toyota Specialists”. Not only did they misdiagnose our engine’s health giving us a false sense of hope, Ravi justified all his claims by saying that he is a Hindu and Hindu people would never do other Hindus wrong. Very unprofessional and immature.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that similar complaints about Firestone's Arlington Heights location were not uncommon. Many customers had reported similar experiences of being misled about issues and feeling pressured into expensive repairs they later discovered were unnecessary.
Additionally, after completing a survey from Firestone about my visit, I heard nothing back from this location or corporate. Clearly they are trying to hide their incompetencies.
The overall lack of transparency and the dismissive attitude displayed by the front desk staff only compounded my frustration. It was clear that customer satisfaction and honest communication were not priorities for this establishment. Instead, they seemed more interested in maximizing profits at the expense of their customers' trust and financial well-being.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise anyone considering Firestone in Arlington Heights to proceed with extreme caution. My experience was marred by poor customer service, misleading information, and a blatant disregard for honesty and integrity. Finding a reputable and trustworthy automotive service provider is crucial, and unfortunately, Firestone in Arlington Heights fell far short of meeting even the most basic expectations

I used to like this place. Not anymore.
Scheduled oil change appointment last week. Went there on time, they sent me back mentioning they are running behind schedule and requested to reschedule.
Rescheduled appointment to this week. 5 min before the appointment got a call from them they need to reschedule again due to workload. Sad to see place is turning down paying regular customers because they can't manage how to run a shop. This place is on the way of bad service. It will be closed in 2-3 years, if they don't change their service approach.

Genuinely the worst experience I've had with a mechanic. Save your money and your sanity and go somewhere else. They will upsell you like crazy and try to shoehorn in extra costs. Would not recommend.
