Its a gas station. They sell gas. They usually raise prices as soon as they sense a story breaking that can "justify" it. that's about it.

While other gas stations in the area have prices of $4.40/gallon, this Marathon was $4.14/gallon! Thank you, Gas Buddy for helping me find a super cheap gas station. I was expecting it to be totally packed with cars lined up for gas this Labor Day weekend, but it was pretty empty. $4.14 a gallon! This gas station is awesome!
